Ten  former  Elks  have  reached  the  ulWmate  level  of  football:  the  NaWonal  Football  League.  John  Mahon  played  for  the  Detroit  Lions,  Dave  Preston  played  with  the  Denver  Broncos,  Dave  Morrill  played  with  the  Cleveland  Browns,  Andy  Harmon  had  an  outstanding  career  with  the  Philadelphia  Eagles,    Mike  Nugent    (2004  Lou  Groza  Award)  played  with  the  CincinnaW  Bengals,  and  A.J.  Hawk  (2005  Lombardi  Award)  played  with  the  Green  Bay  Packers,  CincinnaW  Bengals,    and  the  Atlanta  Falcons,  Will  Johnson  played  with  the  Pi`sburgh  Steelers,  Adam  Replogle  with  the  Atlanta  Falcons,  Michael  BenneX  is  currently  a  member  of  the  Jacksonville  Jaguars,  and  Tito  Odenoigbo  is  currently  playing  for  the  Minnesota  Vikings.

The  Centerville  Football  program  plays  a  complete  schedule  of  games  on  both  the  JV  and  9th  grade  levels,  in  addiWon  to  its  varsity  schedule.  The  Elks  are  a  member  of  the  Greater  Western  Ohio  Conference,  which  consists  of  18  teams.  The  Elks  play  their  home  games  at  Centerville  Stadium,  one  of  the  finest  high  school  faciliWes  in  Ohio,  which  has  a  seaWng  Capacity  of  8,000

Centerville  Football  has  long  been  recognized  as  one  of  the  premier  high  school  football  programs  in  the  state  of  Ohio.  Over  the  past  36  years,  the  program  has  built  a  tradiWon  of  winning  matched  by  few.  

Centerville  has  won  329  games  (76%  winning  percentage)  in  the  past  38  years,  while  winning  23  Conference  Championships.  In  this  same  Wme  span,  the  team  has  reached  the  state  playoffs  15  Wmes,  reaching  the  regional  level  every  Wme,  and  were  state  runners-­‐up  in  1991.  In  1986,  the  Elks  finished  the  season  ranked  Number  One  in  the  state  of  Ohio.  

Centerville  football  players  have  received  many  honors  over  the  years.  Included  in  these  awards  have  been  49  All-­‐Ohio  Players  and  the  1986  Gatorade  Midwest  player  of  the  Year  in  Kirk  Herbstreit.  Numerous  Elk  players  have  gone  on  to  very  successful  college  football  careers  at  all  levels,  including  92  NCAA  Division  1  players.
