Alignment The way lines of a text are arranged Centered, Right Aligned, Left Aligned, Justified

Tab Moving the Cursor to the next location by using
the Tab key on the keyboard You can also set Tab Stops
Margins the blank space to the left and right sides and at

Header/Footer The header is one or more lines of text that
appear at the top of every page of a document The footer consists of lines of text that appear at
the bottom of every page of a document Line Spacing
Line Spacing refers to the number of blank spaces between lines of text
Double Space, Single Space

Print Preview Click on the menu choice or icon for a Print
Preview and you will be shown an image of exactly what the printed output will look like
Indent An indent is one or more spaces that are used to
move the text to the right of the left margin

Spelling/Grammar Check Word processing programs contain a spell check
program which can verify the correct spelling of words in a document
Copy To duplicate selected text, selected cells, or a
selected object; shortcut is CONTROL C

Cut Removes the current selection from the document
and places the it on the clipboard for pasting for future use (shortcut method is Control X)
Paste Information that has been cut or copied to the
clipboard can be placed in another location at a later time when needed (shortcut method is Control V)
