Listed Building Experience:

The�CHPK�team�have�significant�experience�with�new build projects and listed�buildings.

Gavin Lacey has and continues to act for Lloyd’s of London at their HQ in the City of London as PD and client CDM Regulations compliance advisor. The Lloyd’s building is Grade I listed and it is said by Historic England to be “universally recognised as one of the key buildings of the modern epoch”.

Rebecca Weir has acted for the Victoria and Albert Museum in relation to CDM matters during major works to this Grade I listed building.

Rebecca Weir, of the CHPK CDM team, wrote the APS Practice Note “The CDM, Collaborative Thinking and Heritage Sites". The practice note was written following close consultation with English Heritage and Rebecca continues to have close links to English Heritage.

Programme - CHPK always work to the project programme and actively assist the team in meeting those whilst remaining fully compliant with the CDM 2015 Regulations.

Gavin specialises in construction health and safety, particularly in relation to major redevelopment�of�existing�properties�where�significant�structural�alterations�may� be required.

Rebecca Weir TechIOSH CMaPSRebecca has worked as a Health & Safety Consultant within construction consultancy since the introduction of the CDM Regulations in 1994 together with practical experience gained as an asbestos surveyor. She has a strong understanding of conservation and the restoration of historic buildings and has written a Practice Note for professional publication by the Association for Project Safety.

Rebecca’s in depth knowledge of the CDM Regulations together with her involvement on the London Region APS committee and the HSE steering group is testament to her commitment for sharing best practice.
