page in the Maths Star – White Rose- Week 4, as they are no longer available via the website. However even if you get chance to just watch the video then that’s great! Continue with the Schofield and Sims books, as and when. Times-tables Rock-stars – We are going to have another Boys vs Girls Tournament this week beginning Monday 11th at 1pm and ending Friday 15th 2pm. The tables are set for each child, if you feel these are either too easy or too hard, just get in touch and we can amend them accordingly!

RE: As we are still in the month of May we thought we’d like to keep the following tasks on for another week. Can we remember Mary our Mother? Can you say the Hail Mary every day during the month of May? Can you create an altar in your home to honour Mary. On the class page in the RE Star there are some ideas and other activities to help you with this.Art: Use the power-point uploaded to the class page and explore the different artistic ways of representing Mary our Mother.

DT and History: As part of our learning about Neil Armstrong, can the children design and build a space rocket using recyclable materials? On the class page, under Other Curriculum Areas, History and Geography, Great Explorers – Neil Armstrong there is a document with ideas on to help the children come up with a design.

Science: In March we planted some sunflower seeds - here are how mine have grown! How am I looking after them? On the class page in the Science star we have added a Diary of my Sunflower, with a power point showing the Life-Cycle of a plant? Can you design a poster of the life-cycle of a plant, labelling it with key words?

Spellings and Times-Tables: The spellings for Summer term are now in the English star on the class page. Feel free to keep up with the weekly times-tables and spelling tests, the children can do these in the back of their books as they would have done in school.

Please do e-mail if you need anything at all and continue to send the photos!More importantly continue doing what you are and what works for you as a family!
