School Closure Daily Learning Plan: Reception Hello everyone As Friday is a Family Fun Day, there will be no formal work today. There are lots of ideas on the website of things you can learn, do and make. Let your child have a look on the activity pages to see what they would like to do. Today will be the last time for finding out about sea creatures. Watch the videos on the class pages to see what you’ve learned over the past few weeks. See if you can tell an adult what you know. What specific vocabulary have you learned? If your child has been in school, can you please complete the tricky word activity from yesterday. We had a wondergul day yesterday with lots of playing outside - even the drizzle didn’t stop us. I have uploaded pictures to the new ‘Reception Photographs’ folder on the class web page. I hope you enjoy looking at your child’s work from through the year and seeing how much they have progressed since September. If your child has not been in school and you would like to collect their bag of books and art work from the walls, you are welcome to come to the school office next week to collect them. Please sanitize your hands at the ‘sanitization station’ before entering the building! If not, they will be sent home with your child in September. I will continue to send messages and put work on the website next week as the term does not officially finish until the end of next week. School Closure Daily Learning Plan: Reception

Hello everyone

As Friday is a Family Fun Day, there will be no formal work today.

Have a wonderful dayMrs Turley

Under the SeaWatch part or all of the videos with facts about seahorses, crabs, turtles & general sea creatures on the class webpage https://www.st-annes.walsall.sch.uk/video-clips-summer-2/.

Spend some time learning to sing the 2 ‘Under the Sea’ songs from the class website https://st-annes-sutton-coldfield.secure-primarysite.net/video-clips-summer-2/.

Make a Diorama FridayDownload the document below on ideas about how to create your own diorama. You might want to use the printouts of pictures of fish cut outs to help. You might even want to make a collect of those creatures you’ve been making over the past few weeks to make it a large ocean scene.

Web CamsGo online and watch some webcams from a variety of aquariums and live under the sea. The Sea Life Centres around the world have lots of videos on their Facebook pages.

Watch a FilmSpend some time snuggled on the sofa watch an ‘under the sea’ themed film. Here are a few ideas – The Little Mermaid is my personal favourite!
