something they don’t understand.• Week to week homework• January onwards – some homework may
be emailed and children can access in school or at home – email safety!
• Spelling – groups and individuals • Forms of writing – link to topic mostly• Reading – assessment completed – children
will be reading as an individual – book suitable for them. Complete written follow up work in school – usually a three week cycle.
• Talking and Listening• Grammar – taught throughout forms of

• Change in levels – focus on the using aspect of maths
• Covering the areas identified on Learning Plan
• Monthly focus on investigative/problem solving maths
• Weekly assessment of that weeks’ maths
