� Activities planned to allow P1 students to:
- get to know their classmates & teachers
- find their way around the school
- build class spirit
� Refer to list of books/materials to bring
(will be updated by 3rd week of Dec 2015)

4-day Orientation Programme
� 3-day grace period for P1 parents in school
• Fetch children to the basketball court for
morning assembly
• Watch children manage in canteen
�Parents are not allowed to linger in the
school compound, including the canteen
area after the 3-day grace period.

Helping students adjust to school life
Buddy System (one month)
� P2 students are paired up with P1 students
� familiar face to look for so that they feel more
secure
�Show them the school routines and places they
need to know.

� School rules designed to ensure a safe and healthy
physical and social environment. Do’s and Don'ts
found in Student Handbook and school website.
� Parents are urged to understand and ensure
adherence to school rules
� Counselling and reasoning are used to manage
students.
� The important point is that the students must learn
from their mistake(s) and not repeat it.

It is important to inform children where the meeting
point is to avoid confusion and reduce anxiety
especially on the first few days.
The gates for dismissal if not taking school bus are:
Gate C & D – the side gates (facing block 660)
Gate F – the back gate (facing block 662)
