ALEXANDRIA, VA - The new wall covering product line, Casart™ Coverings, delivers reproduced, hand-painted, decorative/faux finishes and murals. No ordinary wall-covering, the repositionable, reusable, high-end vinyl material allows for seasonable décor, temporary children’s designs, apartments, or a sophisticated repertoire of motifs.
Casart™ has been scanned in high-resolution, so it is true to the original, and then printed on canvas-like vinyl with a unique repositionable, adhesive backing. The Casart™ Coverings product line originates from the decorative finishes and murals from the artwork of C. Ashley Spencer of Alexandria, Virginia. Ashley is well-known for custom decorative finishes and mural artwork commissioned by clients across the country. While the inaugural designs include elements from Ms. Spencer’s original mural and decorative collection, design options include custom artwork and photography.
Ashley Spencer began Casart™ Coverings with the support of her partners, Lindsey Wood (her sister in Denver), and Lorre Lei Jackson (her mother in New Orleans). As such, the company is a family-run and female-owned business.
“Our product will change the way people think about wall covering,” says Ashley Spencer. “In addition to the ability to remove, change, and reapply, each decorative finish can be custom matched to most any Benjamin Moore paint color via Pantone print inks.” Murals can also be customized to the client’s size requirements and décor.
