Pre Event Press Release “A Ride for Safety –Suraksha Safar”The young city of Navi Mumbai shall witness the first of its kind ride organised by bike and car enthusiasts, who this time would ride for a cause, the cause of “Safe riding”; on 19 th June. The glorious Palm Beach, running parallel to the thane creekand connecting Vashi - Belapur would form the part of the distance, and the ride will continue till Panvel via Sion - Panvel Highway. A total of 22 riders and drivers are the official riders of the ride, while the event remains open for more enthusiasts to join in, who w ill tail the ride to support the cause. This initiative called Suraksha Safar is supported by the Mayor of Navi Mumbai Shri Sagar Naik. Mr. Naik quotes that, “There is a lot of enthusias m about motorsports in Navi Mumbai, especially when you consider the high percentage of youngsters in the city. With this ride we intend to send the message that enthusiasm should be pursued safely and should never become a concern for pub lic safety. The law forms one part to ensure the road and public safety, but another very important part is of public awareness, this is an effort to support the law of the land and to help the enthusiasts pursue their pass ion responsibly”. The organisers of the ride; Team 360 is a group of enthusiasts who intend to pursue Motorsports professionally and intend to represent the Indian talent. The Manager of Team 360, Mr. Atul Aherwar says that “Our Mayor’s kind and enlightening support has given Team 360 lot of energy. This is an effort that would help us reach to people in a more positive light.
