For Immediate Release January 28, 2011February Concerts Feature 16 y/o Singer-Songwriter, a New Orleans Brass Band and Rock n RollSalt Lake and Park City all-ages venues host free shows that draw friends, family, fans together quarterly

Salt Lake City, UT The Utah Arts Alliance youth music program, MusicGarage.Orgwill perform the weekend of February 11 and 12 in Park City and Salt Lake City.

The shows feature a 16 year-old singer-songwriter named Jane Lyon who hasperformed with MusicGarage.Org both as a solo act and as part of the RockGarageprogram at music festivals and venues, statewide. Miss Lyon will be followed by theall-teen Crescent City Brass Band to promote the agencys JazzGarageprogram.

Shows are headlinedby the MusicGarageyouth rock musicprogram, RockGaragefeaturing 12-18 year old musicians who meetfor weekly rehearsals at MusicGarages over8,000 sq ft rehearsal, recording and venuefacilities. Since 2009, MusicGarage.Orgsyouth music programs have performed atfairs, festivals and venues statewide including

the Utah Arts Festival, Desert Rocks Music Festival, Deer Valley Amphitheater and over twenty others.

MusicGarage.Org is a program of the non-profit Utah ArtsAlliance with over 8,000 square feet of rehearsal, performanceand recording facilities, art galleries, artists studios, a dancestudio and a newly expanded 3000-watt all-ages live musicvenue. The musicians and producers who run MusicGarage.Orghave produced over 400 youth in more than 250 youth concerts.MusicGarage.Org co-sponsors and staffs MusicStudio classesin Utahs public schools. MusicGarage.Org also does stagemanagement and production services at festivals and events.
