It was the opinion that an indirect but very substantialcontribution could be made to the extension of credit for local buildingpurposes and for conduct of smaller businesses if the Brinks would freelyavail themselves of the rediscount privilege offered by the Federal Re-serve Banks*

The meeting considered it was desirable that some definiteorganisation should be established under a committee representing thedifferent industries and sections of the business community, whichwould undertake to follow up the President1£ program in the differentindustries*
