SPOOL WINDING TROLLEY

The BHS Spool Winding Trolley (SWT) is a shaftless respooling machine that improves safety and productivity for cut-to-length cable distribution. Most shaftless take-ups rely on under-rollers to actuate spin, requiring removal of reels from jack stands. The SWT eliminates this costly extra step with an overhead rim drive system; rather than bringing the reel to the take-up, you bring the SWT to the reel. This allows users to spool directly onto job-site reels. No more disassembly and reassembly required.

Respool Reels Without Removing Them from Jack Stands. The BHS Spool Winding Trolley (SWT) saves time and labor in cut-to-length wire distribution applications. Position the unit over a BHS Parallel Reel Payout (PRP), Dyna Reel Platform (DRP), or existing jack stands; an overhead rim drive spins take-up reels of virtually any size to fill them efficiently and safely.

Eliminate Waste

The SWT counts every linear foot of cable it pays off to take-up reels, allowing users to fill orders precisely. Match specifications from BIM data to the inch, preventing conductor waste.

One Step Respooling

Position the SWT unit above a take up reel, adjust the overhead roller arms to match, and begin spooling via push-button controls. A control slide allows the user to obtain the highest possible yield per reel.

Compatible with Most Reels and Spools

Spool multiple cables onto compartment reels, or fill a large order with a single conductor. Adjustable-height roller arms work with all common diameters, with a maximum reel width of 48 inches.
