Summary

These days we have been improving our English skills and learning about American cultural topics.We know a lot about American slang. Today we will present some American slang to the class.

Firstly, we chose the slang come up for air. You use this slang when you are trying to tell another

person that he or she needs to relax. It is interesting for us because we have never used slang likethis in our cultures.

Secondly, we chose the slang Oops. You use this slang when you make a mistake.

Finally, we chose the slang I am beat. You use this slang when you feel really tired.

Our group presentation will be in three parts:

1. Power point presentation about the meaning of the slang and when we can use it.

2. A performance. Our plot will be focused on the practical use of the slang. The scene will be in anoffice where the office workers are stressed because their manager is bad, and thinks that all theemployees work is easy.

3. Finally we will have question time, when we answer some question about our presentation.

Summary

Actually it was not very easy to do the final project, but it was really interesting and

fantastic. We achieved our task by cooperation and every group member enjoyed the

process. At the beginning, we decided to do one slang, but it was too difficult to find

information about it, so we changed to a different slang after discussion. We think no

pain no gain is a better choice because we can do it perfectly. Then we began our

project. We included finding information, role playing and designing power point.

Fortunately, we completed our project and made it better than before. It was a
