DAD Implementation and Capacity Building

Data collection and initial data entry/validation: Available data has been entered in pilot DAD module, with Synergy’s assistance, rolled out to stakeholders

Data updating and designing/disseminating reports:MDPAC team is supporting development partners, and Line Ministries in data updating and validation

Capacity building requirement and training program:Synergy expert conducted training of focal persons nominated by development partners and ministries, training program would be implemented as per plan

Viability and Sustainability Challenges Internet connectivity for a web-based system:

DAD will be hosted at Synergy’s US office, an offline module will allow to view and update data, which can be synchronized when internet would be available

Ownership and sustainability of DAD system:

MDPAC will assume ownership and management, would build outreach, report preparation and system administration capacities (initial 3-years contract with Synergy’s provision on training and technical support)

Linking of projects to sectoral KPIs and MDGs:

Mapping of KPIs and MDG targets of each project would need extensive efforts, to take advantage of DAD’s capability to support M&E of these projects
