OBJECTIVES OF CHP OPERATION

1. To maintain healthy bunker level to ensure continuous operation of the coal-mills.

2. To see that the coal that is going into the mill is free of scrap materials ,boulders for safe operation of mill.

3. To stack coal in coal yards for future use and reclaiming purpose.

REQUIRED COAL CONSUMPTION :- As per Boiler Design Coal Consumption :-

Daily Coal Requirement = 49,500 TPD For Six Unit. = 343 TPH Per Unit(Approx.) Design Capacity = 1950 TPH Capacity for Three

Units. Bunker = 42 Nos. Each Unit = 07 Nos. ( 05 Nos. in Operation at a time). Bunker Capacity = 1100 MT (Approx) coal.

• CONTINUOUS MONITORING OF ALL THE EQUIPMENTS TO SEE WHETHER THEY ARE IN WORKING CONDITION AND TO FIND OUT ABNORMALITY IF ANY .

2• STARTING AND STOPPING OF DIFFERENT

CONVEYORS,OIL-COOLERS,PUMPS,DS SYSTEM,DE SYSTEM AFTER TAKING CLEARANCE FROM FIELD OPERATORS.

• CONTROLLING FIRE AT ANY PLACE IN CHP.
