Ronaldo Agustín Negri. Founding Partner. Negri holds a Bachelor of Law Degree and a Law Degree with a
specialization in Business Law, both from the University of Buenos Aires. From 1992 to 1996, Negri worked as a clerk in
the commercial litigation department at the law firm of Casa & Sosa in Buenos Aires, Argentina. From 1996 to March
1997, he worked in the Banking and General Practice Groups at the law firm of Carregal & Funes de Rioja, also in
Buenos Aires. In 1996, Negri worked as an intern in the International Law Department at the Argentine Embassy in
Washington, D.C. and at the American Bar Association (ABA)’s Section of International Law and Practice, also in
Washington. In 1997, he received an Argentine Student Exchange Council Scholarship to attend the International
Business and Trade Seminar of the World Capitals Program at American University in Washington. From March 1998 to
June 2003, he was an Associate Lawyer in the Corporate, Mergers and Acquisitions, Environmental and General
Practice Groups at the Buenos Aires offices of the law firm of Baker & McKenzie’s. In 2002, he received a scholarship
from the Government of Spain and completed a Master’s Degree in Business Law at the University of Francisco de
Vitoria, Spain. From June 2003 to July 2004 he served as General Counsel for The WorldGate Group in Argentina. In
June 2003, he attended the Strategic Thinking and Game Theory for Management Summer Course at the London
School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) of the University of London. Since March 2000, Negri has been an
assistant professor at the School of Law and Social Science of the University of Buenos Aires, where he has taught the
following courses: Bankruptcy, Insolvency and Reorganization, Commercial Law, Mergers and Acquisitions, Corporate
and Partnership Law, Antitrust Law and Environmental Law. From March 2004 to June 2005, Negri acted as legal
advisor to the Small- and Medium-sized Businesses’ Commission of the Chamber of Deputies of Argentine National
Congress. Since 2003 he has been Legal Counsel to Swissinvest Argentina S.A., an asset management and financial
services company with offices in both Argentina and Switzerland. He is a Member of the American Bar Association,
Buenos Aires Bar Association, San Isidro Bar Association and Argentine Council of Foreign Affairs (CARI). His areas of

Gustavo Torres. Founding Partner. Torres holds a Bachelor of Law Degree and a Law Degree with a
specialization in Business Law, both from the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina, where his thesis was
entitled “Democracy Evolution and its Institutions” and where also participated in the “Unification of Civil and
Commercial Codes Seminar”. He has authored the following pieces of Argentine legislation: “Collection and
Tax Agents”, “Investments in Capital Goods”; “Amendment of National Law Nbr. 24.331 of Free Trade
Zones”. From 1997 to 1998, Torres acted as legal counsel to the Free Trade Zone of Ensenada, La Plata,
Argentina as well as for the United Nations Development Program. Torres has taught the following courses
at the School of Law and Social Science of the University of Buenos Aires: International Business Law,
Capital Markets and Ethics and Empirics Fundamentals of Law. Since 1996, he has acted as legal advisor to
the Commission of General Legislation of the Honorable Chamber of Deputies of the Argentine National
Congress. He is currently completing his second year of the course: “Tax Proceedings Law and Criminal Tax
Law” in a joint program of the Institute of Studies of Public Finance and the University of Barcelona. He is
