CONSTRUCCIONES Y OBRAS LLORENTE(COLLOSA) se fundó en 1944 por inicia-tiva de Patricio Llorente de Blas, quelogró consolidar una empresa de cier-ta entidad dentro del sector de lacons trucción. En el año 1973, se cons -tituyó en sociedad anónima al incorpo-rarse a la misma sus hijos, Alejandro,Miguel Ángel y Patricio, pasando a con-solidarse como una empresa de tamañomedio.A finales de los años80, se fue transforman-do en un gran grupoempresarial, del queCOLLOSA fue el em -brión. La necesidad dediversificar la activi-dad empresarial diopaso a nuevas empresasy a tener participa-ciones en otras afines,todo lo que hoy consti-tuye CORPORACIÓNLLORENTE, con un capi-tal netamente familiar.holding empresarialque opera en sectorestan diversos como la construcción, laenergía, los servicios y el ocio, y que haconsolidado su posición en el mercadonacional español y ha reforzado laampliación de su actividad en el ámbitointernacional, estando presente enpaíses como Chile, Perú, Qatar, Rumanía,Portugal o Irlanda. Corporación Llorente ha participadoen el desarrollo (promoción, cons -trucción y explotación) de 56 proyec-tos eólicos, con 500 mwatribuibles, fruto de suparticipación en proyec-tos por 3.000 mw.Corporación Llorenteha promovido también 5proyectos de instala-ciones fotovoltaicaspropias en España y para terceros, bajola modalidad de EPC, por 2,5 mw.Biocyl (participada por CorporaciónLlorente) es titular de una planta deproducción de biodiésel, a partir deaceite vegetal usado, con un volumende tratamiento de 7.500 Tm/año.

Siempre fieles a los principios desostenibilidad y respeto al medio ambien -te, en el año 1992 Collosa inicia losprimeros contactos con la Calidad, y enel año 1994 se empezó a documentar todoun Sistema de Aseguramiento obteniendoal año siguiente la certificación, porparte de AENOR, en base a la Norma ISO9002:1994. En el año 1998 se decide porparte de la Dirección incorporar el medioambiente y la prevención de riesgos labo -rales, para tener un Sistema de GestiónIntegral, obteniendo el certificado por

parte de AENOR en base a la norma ISO14001, en el año 1999. y OHSAS 18001 enel año 2006. En el año 2007, COLLOSAobtuvo por parte de AENOR y conforme ala norma UNE 166002 el certificado desu Sistema de I+D+I. En el año 1999 se avanzó hacia el mode-lo EFQM, obteniendo la Q de Plata deExcelencia europea en la gestión.La compañía ha prublicado desdeentonces sus Memorias de Sos te -nibilidad (correspondientes a losaños 2003 , 2005, 2007 y 2009), deacuerdo a los criterios marcados enel GRI (Global Reporting Initiative).Todo esto, nos permite encontrarnosen una excelente situación en nues-tro camino hacia la consecución de unDesarrollo Sostenible.

Disponemosde la única planta española capaz demezclar betún y polvo de neumáticos usa-dos en la propia planta asfáltica, prote-gida bajo la forma de "Modelo deUtilidad".
