Admissions process for Barrett, The Honors College at Arizona State University is very selective. Strives to create a dynamic and well-rounded group of scholars

who will contribute to every aspect of the honors college community.

Admitted students typically have superior grade point averages, impressive standardized test scores, and submit a strong application essay.

Looks for students who exhibit exceptional leadership qualities, have special talents (musical, athletic, scientific, among others), pursue interesting hobbies and avocations, enjoy unique personal achievements or life experiences, and have significant community involvement

No minimum GPA or test score requirements for admission. Average unweighted high school GPA for the fall 2009 freshmen class was 3.84, with 75% ranked in the top 10% of their graduating class. Average SAT score (math and verbal sections only) was 1308 and the average ACT was 29.

Students who complete the MBA program at Marcos de Niza High School and meet the entrance requirements for ASU and the W. P. Carey School of Business will automatically qualify for acceptance to the W. P. Carey School of Business undergraduate program.

To qualify for the MBA program students must complete the following: Four business courses with a “B” or better Attend four off campus DECA or MBA events
