positive balance = claim to the community negative balance = obligation to the community
Risks
• Increasing accumulation of credits
• Increasing accumulation of debits
• Default of members (with negative or positive balance)
• Speculation and Inflation
You
Problem: You have a high positive balance but no
service you want is offered by anyone in your community
You
Solution: Find a person that can provide services and is willing to accept Pendo in return.
Other
Other
You
Problem: You accumulated a high debit to the point
where providers refuse you to go even more into debit.
You
Solution: Ask what others need and provide
services that are demanded by your community.
Other
Other
You
Problem: You close your account. The account has
a negative balance as a result from services you consumed from the community.
Every positive balance is backed up by a service already provided.
The individual provider does not suffer a loos.
Other
The community looses a source of value and
carries a negative balance as an indicator of its health status.
