Premier+™ Embroidery Intro Software Info Sheet

Welcome to your Embroidery Intro software! Please store the Product Code Sheet that was included with your machine in a safe place. Together with your sales receipt for your embroidery machine, it forms your proof of ownership for your software. The unique Product Activation Code is needed to activate and use your Embroidery Intro software.

SOFTWARE FEATURESThe Embroidery Intro software helps you to adjust your embroideries on the computer before you sew. Personalize your embroideries in true 3D in a real hoop. Rotate your embroideries to any degree, mirror them from side to side or end to end and scale or resize your embroideries. Adjust an unlimited number of designs and lettering.Adjust the colors to the thread shades from your preferred manufacturer, then combine with lettering or shapes. ColorSort to intelligently re-sort the color order of a design to reduce the number of thread changes. Select multiple designs and move them as a group.Add multi-line lettering with your choice of 4 line types and flexibility to resize and space letters individually. Use the QuickFont wizard to create new fonts for Embroidery Intro software from most TrueType® or OpenType® fonts on your computer. Add SuperDesigns to your project. Surround lettering or designs with a frame.

INSTALLATION PROCESSEnsure you are logged onto your computer with a user account that is an Administrator on the computer, and that the computer has a working Internet connection.

Install Software1. Download the most up-to-date version of the

software from http://www.vsmsoftware.net/Registration/EmbroideryIntro/ To download the software, or to find the latest updates, enter your details to sign in. If you have not previously registered, follow the on-screen instructions. When registration is complete an e-mail password will be e-mailed to you. You will be able to change the password if desired. You will need to download the following components: Premier+™ Applications, Premier+™ Components, Premier+™ Documentation and Premier+™ Explorer Plug-in. Important! During the registration process you will be given an option to enter the sewing and embroidery machine(s) you own. This is NOT a product or warranty registration.

2. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the software. If the following User Account Control message appears: ‘A program needs your permission to continue’, click the Continue button.

3. Repeat as necessary to install other components of the software, such as the Windows® Explorer Plug-In.

Activate Software At the end of the installation process it is recommended to activate your software immediately.4. Select the Register button in Premier+™

Configure at any time. This will continue to activate your software if needed.

5. Check or enter your details as prompted, including customer and dealer information.

6. When prompted, enter the 18-character “Product Activation Code”. Your software will be activated automatically at the end of Registration.

The Product Activation Code may be used again if you purchase a new computer or wish to use the software on two computers. The software and Product Activation Code may not be transferred to another owner as this package is Not For Resale. The use of the software is governed by the “Terms and Conditions of Sale and License Agreement” at PremierPlusEmbroidery.com/License .

GETTING STARTEDWindows® 10; Windows® 8 Start Screen1. At the bottom left of your computer screen, open

the Windows® 10 or Windows® 8 Start Screen.2. Type “Prem” and the Search Screen will appear.3. Ensure Apps is selected.4. Click on Premier+™ Embroidery Intro to launch

it.

Windows® 7 Start Menu1. Click the Start button at the bottom left of your

computer screen and the Start menu appears.2. Move the arrow pointer to All Programs and

another menu will appear.3. Click the arrow pointer on Premier+™

Embroidery Intro and a menu of programs will appear.

4. Click on Premier+™ Embroidery Intro to launch it.

ShortcutsAn alternative to the Start screen/menu method described previously is to use a Shortcut to the Premier+™ Embroidery Intro software. This is creat-ed automatically during the installation process.Windows® 10 (Start Screen); Windows® 81. Click on the Premier+™ Embroidery Intro tile in

the Start Screen.Windows® 10 (Desktop); Windows® 7 1. Close or minimize any programs you have

running.2. Double-click on the Shortcut to the

Premier+™ Embroidery Intro folder. A list of the programs appears.

3. Double-click on Premier+™ Embroidery Intro to launch it.

Viewing and Printing PDF GuidesFor information on how to use your Embroidery Intro Software, see the integrated program help or the PDF Reference Guides installed with your software.To find all the Reference Guides for your Premier+™ Embroidery Intro software, in 10 and Windows® 8 select the Desktop tile on the start screen. Then in Windows® 10, 7 or Windows®

8, double-click the Premier+™ Embroidery Intro System shortcut on your desktop, and double-click Guides, then Reference Guides. Select the desired PDF guide. To view and print the PDF Guides, you will need a PDF reader such as Windows® Reader (included in Windows® 10 and 8) or Adobe® Reader (available from www.adobe.com).
