V I S UALIZATION

InVisioning was developed to help our clients understand the design process throughout the life-cycle of their project. We are working in 3D at all times through the use of our CAD software, starting from project inception.

This allows for a client to actually see the impact of each decision, resulting in an expedited process.

During preliminary planning, we translate the client’s needs and wants into 3D views that we can modify and update as changes are requested.

INVISIONING

This allows the client to walk-thru the space and view updates in real time. As the design develops, we apply our in-house software package to the space.

The last phase of inVisioning is the use of a tablet-based application that allows the client to have the final working drawings and images linked to the actual CAD-based information model. This app gives the client and the contractor the ability to access a complete set of current drawings with the touch of a finger. Using touch based controls, the app allows simple navigation around and through the space.

This software, which is also used by Sony and Pixar, helps us sculpt a realistic view of the fit, finish and ambiance of the space for final photorealistic images.

All of our projects integrate 3D Visualization from the beginning, allowing even the preliminary stages to be more efficient in assisting clients in decisive action.

Due to our constant work in a 3D environment, we are able to quickly illustrate numerous options and updates to the project at all times. These preliminary illustrations come at no additional cost to the client.

Our Test-Fits and space plans go beyond a basic plan view to present the important features of the space in a color coded method similar to a map. This helps clients see the true efficiencies of the space allocation and to analyze the space/department relationship.

The 3D views we create tell the stories that our clients want to share. Presentations of renderings, including photorealistic still images and walk-throughs, lead to enhanced communication about the design with more clarity.

The design details and finishes in our renderings improve the client’s understanding of how everything comes together in their space.

Whether showcasing the project to a Board of Directors or a Neighborhood Committee, presentations are used as high-level marketing pieces to visually describe the design elements.

ARMADILLO FINANCIAL HUNTSMAN CORPORATION

This Oil & Gas client required a design that would benefit daily operations but could also accommodate an additional 100 people during bi-weekly simulations. Some of the critical design components were comprised of security between the public simulation areas and the private office space, as well as a solution to utilize the tall 12’ ceilings effectively.

Visualization allowed Inventure Design to take MWCC from a Design Study evaluation to a Presentation by exploring multiple solutions for their unique setup to find the best configuration.

A variety of options were explored in the Design Study phase to choose the best-fitting combination that showcased the grand architecture.

Our bi-weekly presentations to the hospital design sub-committee relied heavily on Visualization, which helped us better communicate details and enhanced the client’s decision making. Because of the effectiveness of the presentation-quality renderings, the overall process took a year less than anticipated.

FROM RENDERING Initial sketches layout the look and feel of the space but omit finishes and materials. The image appears flat and lacks the breadth of detailed design elements.

Taking images from Design Study to the final Presentation means details are refined and lighting effects are added. Reflections and texture give a rendering realism and accuracy.

Renderings combine design intentions with drama and excitement that realistic lighting imparts, and gives the client an chance to see their project come to life.
