There are two criteria necessary to pass ballot [(1) simple majority (2) affirmative ¾ vote]. Both questions must pass ballot in order to recommend that the Standards Council issues this TIA. (1) In all cases, an affirmative vote of at least a simple majority of the total membership eligible to vote is
required. [20 eligible ÷ 2 =10 + 1 = (11)]
(2) The number of affirmative votes needed to satisfy the ¾ requirement is 14.
(20 eligible to vote - 2 not returned - 0 abstentions = 18 × 0.75 = 13.5 = 14) The Final Technical Committee and Correlating Committee ballot results will be published at the conclusion of the Public Comment Circulation period. An appeal relating to a proposed Tentative Interim Amendment shall be filed no later than 5 days after the notice of the Final TIA ballot results are published in accordance with 1.6.2 (c) and 4.2.6.
