Anticipated Impact Based on Project Operations on Receiving En vironm ent As per Prefeasibility Report. Section No.: 4 Population within 5 Km of project site with
approximate distance
:
Within 1 Km, no village or town. Based on pollution potential negligible, negative impact being anticipated
due to proposed expansion on human beings.
Flora and Fauna :
No Forest/Sanctuary /Reserves within 10 km periphery
area. The industry will also provide green belt area
within and on periphery. No endangered f lora & fauna is
reported within the study area. Thus there will not be any significant impact on ecological environment due to
proposed expansion.

Total: 16,240 L/Day
Wastewater Generation :
Domestic : 1,000 L/Day
Industrial : Nil (generation will be reused)
Total : 1,000 L/Day
The source of industrial wastewater will be from utilities
and other activities which affect water environment as
well as so il environment without control/treatment.
Rain Water Harvesting System
:
Rain Water Harvesting system is integrated in the
project. There will be provision of 1 No. of percolation
wells at the site, which will recharge the ground water
table.
Air Pollution :
Impact on Air Quality during Construction Phase:
Construction activity related to foundation of Steel
columns will be carr ied out. Limited impact being
occurred during construction phase.
Impact on Air Quality during Operation Phase: Process Em ission: No process emission.
7
Flue Gas Em ission: Industry will use Agrowaste
Briquettes as a fuel. Source of f lue gas emission is from
stack attached to Boiler. Generation of Particulate
Matter and Gases increase pollutants in Air
Environment. After providing cyclone separator and
appropriate stack height, pollutants release through
stack will be within norms and the quantity of same will
be very less and effect on receiving env ironment will be
negligible.
Hazardous Wastes Generation :
:
Safe collection, storage, transportation and secured
disposal eliminate the impact on water and soil
Environment.
Noise Pollution :
Sources of noise pollution are pumps which will run
occasionally during charging of reactor, or emptying the
tanker, pumping water in overhead tank etc or operation
of vacuum pump. These operations would generate low
level of noise value.
En vironment Mitigation and Management Plan
Water Pollution Control System
:
Domestic : 1,000 L/Day Industrial : Nil (generation will be reused) Total : 1,000 L/Day Domestic Wastewater Disposal: Soak Pit. Industrial Wastewater will be co llected in Collection Tank and reused after giving pr imary treatment. Unit will remain ZERO DISCHARGE UNIT. As per Prefeasibility Report. Section No. - 5.1
Air Pollution Control System
:
A. Air Pollution C ontrol Measures during Construction Phase:
Sprinkling of water in open area of factory premises will be done. All the safety measures prescribed in code for building and construction will be fo llowed. Regular monitoring of construction activity. Personal Protective Equipments (PPEs) will be prov ided to all the workers.

Liners
33.1 1.5 MT Collection, Storage, Decontamination and reused/ return to supplier/sold to authorized vendors
As per Prefeasibility Report. Section No. - 5.3
Noise Control System
:
Sources of noise pollution are pumps which will run occasionally
during charging of reactor, or emptying the tanker, pumping
water in overhead tank etc or running vacuum pump in last stage
of operation. These operations would generate low level of noise.
Proper maintenance of all the equipment will be taken. Adequate
protective measures in the form of ear muffs/ earp lugs shall be
given to workers work ing in the area and greenbelt development
shall further attenuate the noise transmission. Proper encasing the
pump reduce the noise level. As per Prefeasibility Report. Section
No. - 5.4
Greenbelt Development
: In order to mitigate the air pollutants and to attenuate the noise
9
generated by the motors and also improving the ecology and
aesthetics of the area, the unit will develop green belt area of
1,000 M2. Within the premises.
Rainwater Harvesting
:

5.4 Noise Control Measures: Sources of noise pollution are pumps which will run occasionally during charging of
reactor, or emptying the tanker, pumping water in overhead tank etc or running vacuum
pump in last stage of operation. These operations would generate low level of no ise. Proper
maintenance of all the equipments will be taken. Adequate protective measures in the form
of ear muffs/ earplugs shall be given to workers sensitive to low noise working in these
areas and greenbelt development shall further attenuate the noise transmission.
5.5 Green Belt Development and Rainwater Harvesting Greenbelt Development
In order to mitigate the air po llutants and to attenuate the noise generated by the plant and
also improving the ecology and aesthetics of the area, the unit will develop green belt area
of 1,000 M2 within the industrial premises and on the per iphery of the premises.

5.7 Health and Safety Measures: All the personnel at the plant will be made aware about the hazardous substance
stored at the plant and risk associated with them. Personnel engaged in handling of hazardous chemicals will be trained to respond in
an un likely event of emergencies. Safe work practices will be developed to provide for the control of hazards dur ing
operation and maintenance. The workers will be made aware about the hazards associated with manual handling
of chemicals. Adequate fire f ighting facilities will be provided at the plant, including, dry
chemical powder type, water CO2 type, mechanical foam type, CO2 type of Fire Extinguishers and sand buckets. Personnel will be trained to combat the fire in various hazardous chemicals.
The fire fighting system and equipment will be tested and maintained as per
relevant standards. Safety measures in the form of DO and Don’t DO will be displayed at strategic
locations especially in local language. Good housekeep ing will be maintained in the plant. The required PPEs for each area/operation should be identified and the necessary
PPEs, like, helmets, goggles, hand gloves, mask, PVC suit, Self Contain ing Breathing Apparatus, safety belts, ear muff and p lug, etc. will be provided to the personnel.
The plant will check and ensure that all instruments provided in the plant are in
good condition and documented. Adequate ventilation will be provided. Local exhaust ventilation will be effective in
controlling the dust and fumes in the work environment. All equipment and storage tanks/containers of f lammable chemicals should be
bounded and earthed. First aid box will be provided within the plant. List of important telephone numbers will be displayed at each and every location in
the plant. All the accidents and incidents will be recorded, investigated and analysed in the
proposed plant.
30
In-house fire-fighting system will be provided.
Separate spillage and leakage collection will be provided and will be reused. Safety awareness programme and training of the worker will be carried out to
motivate the workers to increase the safety level at personal level. Occupational Health Aspect: As per govt. standard all facilities will be provided.
