HUKILAU FALL ASSEMBLY Saturday, November 1, 2014

From 10:00am to 3:00pm

A Message from Pastor David Krueger:

The Hukilau Conference will hold it’s Fall Assembly on

November 1 from 10am to 3pm, at

Christ Lutheran (95-1361 Meheula Drive, Mililani.)

Each O’ahu congregation is encouraged to attend.

Besides the normal agenda items, the conference will

use the bulk of the time to participate in what the

Pacifica Synod is calling “Walking Into the Future

Together”. It’s being described as “a process of taking

stock of the synod’s goals and priorities, which will help

us better understand the traits we need in the new bishop

as we go through the nomination and election process.”

The election of a new bishop will take place at the synod

assembly in May 2016.

Lunch will be provided by Christ Lutheran Church.

Please bring $10/person to help cover the cost. In

addition, please contact the CLC office, no later than

Monday, October 27, with the number of people that

will be attending from your congregation, as well as with

any special dietary requests. You may email the CLC

office [email protected],

or call 623-9229.

Mahalo nui! Pastor Krueger
