GIVING THANKS TO GOD THE FATHER

WHY SHOULD WE HAVE A HEART OF THANKSGIVING: Psalms 100: 4

1. It gives you access to God.2. It is God’s will.3. It is a command.

BENEFITS OF THANKSGIVING:

1. It brings you into the presence of God.2. It opens the gate to your blessing.3. It is a powerful tool that brings about multiplication.4. It attracts blessings from both God and man.5. It brings joy.

HOW CAN WE HAVE A HEART OF THANKSGIVING:

1. Realize that what you have is not your right or entitlement. It’s God’s love

2. Learn to do a spiritual stock taking of your life.3. Be satisfied with what you have. Unthankful people are never

satisfied with what they have.

THANKSGIVING PRAYER:

Give thanks unto the Lord, call upon his name, and make known his deeds among the people.

Give God the glory for giving you the grace and privilege to witness this year fasting and prayer.

Let us give God all the glory for His abiding presence in His church and for His blessings in we have enjoy so far year.

Praise God and forget not all His benefits in the past months.

Let us thank Him for forgiving all our iniquities and healing all our diseases.

Thank God for satisfying our month with good things and always renew us spiritually.

Bless God for this year of overflow for He will continuously satisfy our mouths with good things.

have experience so far in the church and in our family this year.

Let us praise God for manifesting His great power in all our national and international centres.

PSALM 47:1 – 9 Thank God for He has subdued wicked people under us, and

nations under our feet.

Give thanks to God for choosing our heritage for us and setting a table before us in the presence of our enemies.

Bless the name of the Lord for our Senior Pastor (Pastor Philip Igbinijesu) and his entire family, our entire resident’s pastor, associate pastors, ministers, deacon, deaconesses, Heads of Department, etc.

Thank God for the preservation of the integrity of Word Assembly Pastors, Ministers, Deacons, deaconesses and all HODs. And for the sustenance of all the Centres of Word Assembly and all the on-going projects in the ministry.

Let us praise and thank God for His mercies over Nigeria

CONFESSING ALL FAULTS, TRANSGRESSIONS, SHORTCOMINGS AND SINS

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9

REPENTANCE OPENS MANY DOORS IN THE REALM OF THE SPIRIT

Sin shuts doors to good things and many blessings. Repentance opens many doors in the realm of the spirit so that we can have access to the victory and redemption that Jesus Christ purchased for us on the cross by His suffering, the shedding of His blood. Repentance must be heartfelt and complete. (Luke 24:46-48).

PRAYER POINTS: FOR REPENTANCE

Lord I admit my faults and sins’ have sinned against you (outline those, call them by name as you confess them) my heart is broken because of my sins, Father please forgive me in Jesus name. I repent of all my sins. I turn away from them all in Jesus name Amen.

Father I receive forgiveness of all my sins. Every door shut in the

spirit against me due to my past sins I command them to open now.

I humble myself before you, forgive me and lift me out of sinfulness into a life of holiness. Keep me pure, do not lead me into temptation and give me the supernatural power and ability to resist sin and over temptation in Jesus name.

Wash me with the blood of Jesus; purge me of every sign and stigma of sin in my life. Give me a new heart of obedience to your word. Renew my spirit and restore unto me joy that comes from an intimate relationship with you my father.

As I repent today I disconnect myself and all that concerns me from every idol I got involved with through sin and rebellion. I terminate every agreement I went into unknowingly with the devil through sin in Jesus name. Amen

Father thank you for forgiving me. I call forth the blessing of rain upon the works of my hands. Every area that dried up in my life because of sin Father sends the rain of blessing. Restore me. Holy Spirit refreshes me as I return back to God in Jesus name Amen.

Holy Spirit reminds me of any one I have offended. Bring to my mind anyone who is feeling bad about me and hurting because of me. Lord I forgive all those who have offended me .touch the hearts of those whom I have I offended knowingly or unknowingly to forgive me at this time in Jesus name. Amen

Father I return to you. As I pray from today please grant me open heavens. I receive grace to pay all my vows. Every decree I make as I pray let it come to pass. In Jesus name

PROPHESYING YOUR GENERAL EXPECTATIONS FOR THE MONTH

Job 22:28

Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thyways. Numbers 14:28; Gen. 2:19; Mark 11:22-24

I shall be strong enough to be fully involved in all the demands of this fasting month in the mightyname of Jesus. (Joel 3:10b)

My purity and consecration shall not be violated this fasting period in the mighty name of Jesus(Mat.5:8)

I receive the Grace to pray in faith and to ask aright in the mighty name of Jesus Christ (James1:6-8; James 4:3)

Every God given idea that have been conceived in me shall be delivered safely in this ninth monthin the mighty name of Jesus Christ

RESISTING EVERY ENEMY OF FRUITFULNESS/OVERFLOW

Isaiah 54:15-17

Behold, they shall surely gather together, but not by me: whosoever shall gather togetheragainst theeshall fall for thy sake. Behold, I have created the smith that bloweth the coals in the fire, and that bringeth forth an instrument for his work;and I have created the waster to destroy. No weapon that is formedagainst thee shall prosper;and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn.This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord.

I condemn every backbiting tongue, every tale bearing tongue, every hypocritical tongue, everymaligning tongue, and every cursing tongue, that is rising against me in the mighty name of Jesus Christ

I command that the devices of the crafty against my family, my ministry, my welfare, my vocation,my health, be disappointed in the mighty name of Jesus Christ

Every harmful intention or arrangement against my life and destiny, return to the one who initiatedyou in the mighty name of Jesus Christ (Prov. 26:27)

Every agent of barrenness, miscarriage and abortion targeting my fruitfulness, be destroyed in themighty name of Jesus Christ

Let the cleansing power in the blood of Jesus cleanse my root and foundation from every ancestral pollution in the name of Jesus.

From today I receive joy and gladness; sorrow and sighing shall not locate my address in Jesus’ name.

Let the voice of the Lord plant the garden of my destiny in the name of Jesus.

O Lord my God, rebuild every good thing that the enemy has destroyed in my life in Jesus’ name.

Any evil blood crying against my destiny, be silenced by the blood of Jesus.

I speak the life of God into every dead organ in my body in Jesus’ name.

Let disease agents in my body be arrested and be evacuated by the power in the name of Jesus.

My inner man, receive deliverance from every form of captivity in the name of Jesus.

I reject every evil transfer into my life; owners of evil load carry your load by fire in the name of Jesus.

Every contrary wind blowing against my destiny, be confronted by the whirlwind of the Lord in Jesus’ name.

LORD I thank You for answering my prayers.

SECURING HEALING AND DIVINE HEALTH AND LONG LIFE

Exodus 15:26

And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord thy God, and wilt do that which is right inhis sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of thesediseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the Lord that healeth thee.

But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him;and with his stripes we are healed.

1 John 3 v 8bFor this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.

1. Let the light of God dispel every darkness in my life in Jesus’ name.

2. I arise out of darkness into light by the power of the Holy Ghost in Jesus’ name.

3. I arise out of weakness into strength by the anointing of the Holy Ghost in Jesus’ name.

4. By the power that divided the Red Sea, let every situation in my life receive the touch of fire in Jesus’ name.

5. Holy Spirit, incubate my life in Jesus’ name.

6. I speak destruction unto every evil growth in my body in the name of Jesus.

7. I release my spirit from every satanic chain and padlock by the power of the Holy Spirit in Jesus’ name.

PRAYING FOR IFOV

Zechariah 10:8

O God our Father, we ask that this year's IFOV shall be a time of mighty divine visitation ofsalvation, healing, deliverance, and total positive transformation in the mighty name of Jesus Christ

Let every man, woman, boy and girl that should be at the IFOV

receive a compelling divine signal to attend, whistle for them o God and bring them every day of the convention in the mighty name of Jesus Christ

We command every financial resource, every material resource, every human resource, everyspiritual resource that is needed for the IFOV to be released in abundance in the mighty name of Jesus Christ

We ask O God that the Holy Spirit will prepare and equip effectively every minister that has beenchosen to minister in any capacity throughout the convention in the mighty name of Jesus Christ

We resist and reject every opposition, every limitation, every confusion and every regret from thisconvention in the mighty name of Jesus Christ

We ask that the Glory of God will provide an unbreakable protective hedge all around our churchauditorium and camp ground and hostels in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

PRAYING FOR SPIRITUAL STABILITY AND MINISTERIAL FULFILLMENT

Romans 8:5-6

1 Thessalonians 5:25 Brethren, pray for us.

O God, we pray for the peace, protection and preservation of the lives of every member of the Igbinijesu family, let your Glory be their defence in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

We come against every satanic intrusion into their family life, we declare and decree that theyshall not be victims in the mighty name of Jesus Christ

We paralyze every enchantment, every divination, every incantation and every evil wish that istargeted against them in the mighty name of Jesus Christ

We prophesy that their seeds shall be mighty upon the earth in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

We ask oh God that their labour of love and sacrifices shall not go unrewarded in the mighty name of Jesus Christ

We disconnect them from every negative influence, either of spirits or humans, in the mighty name of Jesus.

PRAYING FOR THE MARRIED WOMEN, MATURED SISTERS AND CHILDREN

Oh God, we pray for enough wisdom for our married women to build their homes and prevailagainst every spirit of divorce and separation in the mighty name of Jesus(Prov.14:1)

We declare and decree that every pregnant woman delivers safely, we tame every spirit ofmiscarriage, still birth and abortion of babies in the mighty name of Jesus Christ (Ex. 23:26)

We break the yoke of barrenness from every home in Word Assembly, we nullify every negativemedical report in the mighty name of Jesus Christ

We decree divine preparation and connection for godly marriage for all matured sisters, weterminate every ungodly and satanic delay to marriage in the mighty name of Jesus Christ

We decree that single hood will not be an excuse for corruption and immorality in the lives of ourmature sisters in the mighty name of Jesus Christ - We prophesy that our children are taught ofthe Lord in the way of godliness, excellence and wisdom in the mighty name of Jesus Christ(Isaiah 54:13)

PRAYING FOR THE BODY OF CHRIST IN NIGERIA

And I say also unto thee, that thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. Matthew 16:18

Heavenly Father, we thank you for your promise to build and sustain your church, we call on youfor the enforcement of your promise in the church in Nigeria, in the U.S, in South Africa, and all parts of the world in the mighty name of Jesus Christ

We decree and declare that every appearance and manifestation of the gate of hell, workingagainst the church in Nigeria, in the U.S, in South Africa, and all parts of the world , bedestroyed in the mighty name of Jesus Christ

Every anti-Christ operation of government agencies, religious agencies, occult agencies, andevery satanic agency in Nigeria, in the U.S, in South Africa, and all parts of the world,we frustrate your intentions in the mighty name of Jesus Christ

Oh God our Father, we ask for the seal of your Grace, mercy, purity and righteousness upon yourchurch so that we can overcome the surge of pollution and the attack of defilement prevalent inthe world today in the mighty name of Jesus Christ

Heavenly Father, we ask that the spirit of Grace and supplications will multiply in your church and among the saints in this end time in the mighty name of Jesus Christ

2 Corinthians 4:1-2

Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not; But have renouncedthe hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God.

Heavenly Father, we pray for every son and daughter of this commission that none shall faint inthe journey of faith in the mighty name of Jesus Christ

We decree and declare that everyone among the brethren that is still holding on to any hiddenthing of dishonesty will renounce it in this holy season in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

With the blood of Jesus i erase every glory destroying habits from my life.

I receive Divine impartation of God’s glory, grace, strength and peace daily.

I cover myself with the blood of Jesus Christ. I overcome every battle that confronts me by the blood of Jesus Christ. I testify victory for me over every onslaught from hell in the mighty name of Jesus Christ

I overcome every instigation of the devil against my marriage , my joy, my health, my peace, mywell-being and my fellowship with God, be destroyed in the mighty name of Jesus Christ

I frustrate every enchantment, divination, incantation, manipulation, and satanic sacrifice that is against any aspect of my life or destiny in the mighty name of Jesus Christ

Every wicked invocation against my life, backfire in the mighty name of Jesus Christ

I confess my trust in God and for God, and He shall keep me in perfect peace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

I overthrow every demonic power and all the satanic forces that are closing my heavens in the name of Jesus.

PRAYING FOR THE FINANCIAL WELLBEING OF MEMBERS

Zechariah 1:17

Cry yet, saying, thus saith the Lord of hosts;My cities through prosperity shall yet be spread abroad;andthe Lord shall yet comfort Zion, and shall yet choose Jerusalem.

I decree and declare that I am prosperous in every good thing, my channels of income aremultiplying and enlarging in the mighty name of Jesus Christ

I receive an enlarged capacity to be a formidable kingdom financier in the mighty name of Jesus Christ

As I obey the commandment of tithing, I command every wasting influence ofthe devourer to bebroken off my life in the mighty name of Jesus Christ

I command the good of the land in my direction. I prophesy the blessing of Godthat makes a man rich to fall upon me in the mighty name of Jesus Christ

Proverbs 8:12I wisdom dwell with prudence, and find out knowledge of witty

inventions.

I receive wisdom and grace for witty inventions that lead to prosperity in the mighty name of Jesus Christ

I receive grace for generosity and benevolence in the mighty name of Jesus Christ

PRAYING FOR ABUNDANT HARVEST OF SOULS

Proverbs 11:30

The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise.

Father, we ask that you fire up our passion for soul winning and make us fruitful in all our efforts inthe mighty name of Jesus

We receive the force of right words in our mouth for every occasion and every soul for theirsalvation in the mighty name of Jesus Christ

We arrest every religious argument that distract men from accepting the light of the gospel in themighty name of Jesus Christ

Proverbs 21:1The king's heart is in the hand of the Lord, as the rivers of water: he

turneth it whithersoever he will.

Father, We ask for your hand to touch the hearts of kings, nobles, peasants, friends, neighbours, family members, and colleagues for their salvation in the mighty name of Jesus Christ

We ask for divine intervention concerning every peculiar challenge of each centre of the church,let help manifest in the mighty name of Jesus Christ

We prophesy into every location of the church, we decree 'let the dry land appear' for the work of the ministry according to Genesis 1:9, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ

Whatever negative cloud that is gathered over and against any centre of the church, be dispersedin the mighty name of Jesus Christ
