MAINTENACE DEPARTMENT SINCE 08-JULY-2013.

Currently I am taking care the Maintenance of 4 MTPA Iron ore Beneficiation Plant at BRPL Barbil unit and the KRAs were as follows.

Directs and leads daily activities for a team of maintenance managers, engineers and technicians. 

Responsible for maintaining mechanical, equipment necessary for safe and reliable performance of continuous hazardous production processes.

Instills operational/systematic discipline in team. Makes technical decisions based on full awareness of viability, cost and

other benefits. Implements best practices for equipment inspection, spare parts

management, repair methodology, and preventative maintenance (PM) of plant equipment.

Leads compliance with mechanical integrity programs- compliance to maintenance program, monitoring of program for effective reduction in downtime and cost.

Initiation and modification in Beneficiation plant and intake pump house to decreased plant downtime.

Responsible for annual maintenance budgeting and monthly business plan, Budget tracking on monthly basis and cost control.

Do Downtime analysis and follow up action plan for its reduction, Lead Root cause analysis program and completion of actions by team members. Reliability Assessment and follow up reports.

SINCE 12-SEP-2008 TO 20-JUNE-2013.

I was taking care the Operation and Maintenance of 11.2 MTPA Iron ore Beneficiation Plant at JSPL.Prior to this I was in Pellet Plant field Engineer in the areas like Mixing & Blending, Ball Mill, Dryer, Bentonite Grinding during the initial stages of commissioning of the plant.

At 11.2 MTPA Iron ore Beneficiation Plant my KRAs was as follows. To obtain the desired target of production by increasing the machine

availability with required grade for the customer. To increase the availability of the equipments by doing Preventive and

Shutdown Maintenance as per schedule without hindering operations, trouble-shooting problems across the plan to avoid breakdowns.

To do the necessary modification for plant, process requirements for safe and healthy work place. I am responsible for small projects (Modification in plant) like installation of 4 nos of pumps for floor cleaning, installation of distributor box to increase productivity, replacement of rubber hoses with ceramic lagging pipes to increase life, modify the design of feed box of M/S Sandvik and modification in VSI crusher for which I with my team received gold medal in CCQC Durgapur chapter-2012.

Proper spare planning through DIT methods and execution of activities through schedule planning. Maintaining minimum spare and to maintain critical spares available by using SAP PM Module is also a part of job responsibility.

Establish, monitor, and sustain recommended lubrication practices for trouble free operation to maintain work area free of spillages.

Ensuring sustainability of TPM practices. Up keeping the TPM methods for maximizing machine availability and performance.

Implementing safety practices & sustaining them at all level of work chain & implementing the skill knowledge to downstream & up keeping the maintenance practices.

Prior to this I had worked in project for Beneficiation plant for erection/installation of pump-house and all pumps and pipelines. Out of 24 Km of pipeline I had laid 10 Km and out of 140 no. of pump I installed approx. 19 no of pumps. Being in this profession my role was to co-ordinate with different resources to achieve smooth work performance, Liaison with clients, Consultants, local Authorities, Sub contractors & Suppliers coordinating with vendors for material supply, Preparing weekly, monthly and master work schedules and monitoring the actual progress against the schedules by leading a team to ensure smooth and efficient running of the project.

At Pellet Plant I was the maintenance in charge of Raw material section up to feeding to bin.. Prior to this job I was the in-charge for Operation and Maintenance job

of 1000 TPH Jaw-Crusher and 3000 TPH Gyratory Crusher. To increase the availability of the equipments by doing Preventive and

Shutdown, trouble-shooting problems across the plant to avoid break downs. Being in this profession I was also responsible for small projects (Modification in plant).Maintain the ISO records update, material management by using SAP PM Module, implementing TPM inside plant buildings was my job.

Along with I was the Lubrication in charge responsible for maintaining the zero leakage and proper lubrication of equipments in plant (1000 TPH Jaw crusher, 3000 TPH Gyratory crusher, 1500 TPH Wash Plant & 1500 TPH Down Hill Conveyor).
