Overall TeamStrength

The key members of our project team comprise the Project Director,

Project Leader, Consulting Architects and Engineers, Junior

Architects and Engineers responsible for each individual discipline.

Project Directors have commercial responsibility for the projects.

They are responsible for the contractual and financial decisions,

client liaison, project resourcing and meeting all project

requirements.

Project Leaders are primary point of contact for the project team and

are responsible for coordination of all BIMNCAD disciplines, QA

coordination and all BIMNCAD correspondence.

Consulting Architects and Engineers are responsible for providing

specialists input and acts as Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) for

respective disciplines.

Project Team Members are assisted by other engineers as the project

requires. To enhance our approach and methodology in project

delivery, BIMNCAD may supplement its internal resources with

external resources in the production of 3D models, which remain

under the close and direct supervision of our project team at all

times. All aspects of our project management and delivery remain

subject to rigorous peer review as part of BIMNCAD’s accredited QA

system.

Project Objectives

sequence using 4D BIM.

virtual environment before

construction.

construction and as-built stages.

BIM Process Management

We began with the development of consultant’s existing design

BIM models and upgraded them to detailed LOD 400 BIM models

for construction process. A 4D BIM construction sequence was

developed to review the construction process. Conflicts

between multiple services were resolved and Design changes

were managed into the BIM environment.

Shop drawings were produced followed by recording As-built

conditions. We are currently upgrading the BIM models to

further be used for Facility Management and Asset Management

using COBie.



Case Study

Project Details

Architecture consultants of this project

were required to produce clash free

documentation to reduce potential on-

site construction issues. We created the

BIM models of Plumbing, Sanitary and

HVAC using the 60% CD PDFs, detected

multi-service clashes and resolved

those clashes for effective

constructability.

BIM Process Management

The objectives of the project to utilize BIM was clear from the

beginning so we created BIM models accordingly. Potential clashes

were recorded within the BIM tool and were reported to client in RFI

format thereby reducing RFIs which were to be generated in

construction stage.
