    Harrison

    acted

    as

    Shell

    delegate

    on

    the

    Joint

    Venture

    Project

    Committee

    of

    the

    AustralianNorthWestShelfLNGprojectbetween1993and1997.Duringthatperiodhewasalsosecondedparttimeto

    COAGNaturalGasTaskforce(todevelopanationalgasregulatoryregime)tocoordinateandreportonthedeliberations

    of the UpstreamWorkingGroup. Prior to that,Mr Harrison was involved in managing theapplicationofonshoreand

    offshore technologies for Shells own exploration and production programme the successful development of gas

    projects forbaseandpeak loadduties intheUKSouthernNorthSeagasprovince,gasandoilventureassessments in

    Russia,KazakhstanandTurkmenistan,anddeepwatergasandoildiscoveries inThePhilippines.BeforejoiningShell in

    1972, Mr Harrison worked for two years as a Field Geophysicist in Central Australia and Papua New Guinea for the

    AustralianGovernment,BureauofMineralResources(nowGeoscienceAustralia)andforafurthertwoyearsasafield

    partyleaderinCentralAustraliaforaprivateexplorationcontractingcompany.

    RichardHarrison is a private consultant in the field of natural gas market development and is interested also in the

    integrationofcommercialandenvironmentalopportunitiesofferedbytheuseofnaturalgas.MrHarrisonwasformerly

    with the Shell Group of Companies for 30 years. His final post was General Manager, Natural Gas and Project

    DevelopmentManagerforShell inChinafrom1997to2001.Hismainresponsibilitywastodevelopa liquefiednatural

    gas(LNG)importproject,aswellassalesand

    MichaelWilliamsisanenergyprofessionalwithworldwideexperienceparticularlyingasandLNG,mostrecentlyinChina

    andTaiwan.AsManagingDirector(Gas&Power)forShellinChina,wasacknowledgedasamajorinfluenceinthechange

    ofChinasenergypolicytoimportLNGandtoutilizegas.HehasexpertiseinallphasesofthegasandLNGbusiness,and

    isacknowledgedby industryexperts,GovernmentsandGovernmentExpertCommittees.Nowaconsultant andBoard

    Member.HasconsultedworldwideonallaspectsofgasandLNG.MemberoftheWesternAustraliaGasPanelofExperts.

    HisinfluenceonthedevelopmentofenergypolicyinChinaandinTaiwanwasrecognisedbytheEnergyWorkingGroup

    ofAPECandbytheassociatedpolicydevelopmentbody,APERC (AsiaPacificEnergyResearchCentre,based inTokyo).

    Forthepast4years,hasbeeninvitedtorecommendenergypoliciestoAPERCandtocritiqueenergypoliciesdeveloped

    by APERC. He has extensive experience of working with Joint Venture partners, including as a senior member of the

    managementoftheactualJVteam.AsTechnicalandPlanningManagerintheVenezuelanLNGProjectwasresponsible

    foralltechnicalandplanningaspects.AsLNGManagerintheSakhalinLNGProject,ledallLNGplanningfortheproject.

    Led the consortium of Shell, Marubeni and Osaka Gas to bid for the Guangdong LNG Project. He was the inaugural

    manageroftheOnshoreTreatmentPlantoftheNorthWestShelfLNGProject inKarratha.Setuptheorganisationand

    managed

    the

    start

    up

    and

    operation

    of

    the

    plant.He

    has

    always

    maintained

    a

    keen

    interest

    and

    capability

    in

    the

    technologyofthegasandLNGbusiness,andisrespectedbyconsultantsandindustrycommentatorsforinsightintothe

    technologyanditsbusinessapplications.
