Power Point about “Homesick.”

In 1920’s concessions were made between America and China because they made agreements to be allies and trade.

The Chinese boy called Jean a “Foreign devil” because she was

an American .To him he knew she was from a foreign country. At the

time kids thought America was the enemy. During the end of the

conversation he called her an “American friend” because

she was friendly to him and gave him an orange. He found her

nice and decide she wasn't bad.

In 1920 a guy name Steve T. Kaufman was a pilot in the US Air Mail Service. In 1929

there was article posted telling people that he was going to be the first

to transport mail to china in Shanghai, Hankow. The Chinese Daily news article talked

about their flight and what would happen if there was an emergency with the plane.

Most of their planes would land in China, Hankow.

• I got homesick one time when I went to Albuquerque. I was going with my mom while the rest of the family stayed home .We went to stay for four days. Then, on the second day I started getting really sick of the hotel room. I didn’t feel well so my mom took me back home. Then, the next I was with my siblings and I felt a lot better.
