What is E-Rate?
0E-Rate is the commonly used name for the Schools and Libraries Program of the Universal Service Fund.
0 It is administered by the Universal Service Administrative Company (USAC).
0Provides discounts to assist schools to obtain affordable telecommunications and Internet access.
How does E-Rate work?
0Schools must prepare a technology plan.
0Then the schools procures the services.
0Then they must apply for funding.
0The application is reviewed.
0The school then receive services.
