POST LOCKDOWN

UPDATE

Welcome back everyone we missed you! Covid -19 and the month long level 4 lockdown has created enormous change and uncertainty but since reopening we have been really busy, there appears to be a high demand for our product range. The en-forced break was interesting and I am sure many of you used the time productively and are keen to get moving again.

Supply Issues The major issue we are dealing with is changes to the supply chain. Previously the main publishers were supplying us by air freight on a weekly basis from their warehouses in Australia. With the major reduction in trans -Tasman flights they have been forced to send everything by sea which means a delivery time of around 4 weeks from placing an order. We have so far received a couple of shipments but the bulk of our orders are due to arrive in early to mid-June and this should result in a major reduction in backorders.

Price Increases You will also have noticed price increase on some products. This is due to a poorer exchange rate against the U.S dollar and is necessary to keep us viable. I am also noticing price increases starting to appear from some of the major publishers. If the exchange rate improves we will definitely react and lower prices as soon as we can.

2021 Calendars We would usually be distributing our 2021 calendar order forms and catalogues at this time. However Covid has caused a delay in the delivery of the catalogues and we will now be sending these out with the July newsletter.
