Industry Internship / Fieldwork

• A 3-day fieldwork during term 3 introduces the student to an organizational/business setting.

• Managerial issues confronted by organizations are identified, analyzed and discussed.

• Students work with industry guides and are required to present to a group of faculty.

• In addition, students will undertake a project / coursework in an institution identified by TAPMI preferably outside India.

Project Component

• Students must complete a 10,000 word project on a topic that is industry relevant.

• Each student will work with an industry and faculty mentor.

• Students commence working on projects at the beginning of Term IV.

• Projects must be submitted at the end of Term VI.

Student Managed Investment Course (SMIC)

• Unique opportunity to undergo experiential learning in Stock Selection and Portfolio Management.

• Theory and practice of Investment Management taught through the TAPMI Student-Managed Fund.

• Through the TAPMI Student-Managed Fund, students invest in BSE/ NSE listed companies. They cover different industry sectors, submit company and sector reports and participate in the stock selection process.

• All sessions in SMIC are conducted by practitioners – Stock Analysts, Traders, Portfolio Managers, Regulators
