Dear Participant,
The Hospitality Business Forum 2014 hosted more than 100 prominent hotel owners, operators, food and beverage heads, executive chefs, consultants and hospitality suppliers.
This is the 15th global edition under the hospitality series of initiatives organised by naseba and duly supported by leading regional industry experts and international solution providers.
Day 1 of the initiative started with a panel discussion on the kingdom's hotel industry evolution and the refinement boom. It provided a platform for the top decision makers who are responsible for shaping the future of the hotel industry in Saudi Arabia to open up and share their experiences as they continue to expand their brand presence in the market, catering to a balance mix of religious, business and leisure tourists.
Further discussions highlighted the challenges and efforts of operations heads and general managers to stay competitive while ensuring utmost organizational efficiency and profitability.
This was followed by pre-arranged business meetings between participating hospitality buyers and solution providers and the day concluded with a networking gala dinner.
Day 2 focused taking an analytical look at the top technology trends and paradigms that are changing the way Hotels function and how to keep up with the device-obsessed travelers, reduce carbon footprint, and provided a fresh perspective to traditional operations.
It also included a case-study presentation on procurement and purchasing strategy best practices as well as another panel on a renewed approach towards reinvigorating F&B to differentiate from the competition.
Overall, the initiative was yet another successful execution of our proven format of hosting business meetings, high level networking and knowledge sharing activities.
