Hello, Once again the post has been a flurry of activity with breakfast , pok-er and many other events the bar manager has been creatively doing. I want all to know we have a great volunteer base that has enabled us to accomplish these tasks as they come up, so if you hear about a event and want to help, please feel free to step up and say some-thing . While I acknowledge the post is a lot about our canteen I cannot stress enough that there is so much more we do and while I want all to have a good time we HAVE to remember that we have a responsi-bility to be kind and courteous to each and EVERY guest and mem-ber . This is not a optional behavior that I am asking for, as the Com-mander I am demanding common courtesy from each and everyone both staff and guests . The new gaming procedures are in effect and seem to be moving along , so remember to sign up for the weekly and monthly drawings. With everyone's help this will build excitement for these drawings . Hello Comrades and fellow auxiliary members! Well breakfast has been growing by leaps and bounds! And I want to thank all of our auxiliary people who have been going nonstop every time. Along with the regulars and some new faces who have jumped into help! We have a fish Fry coming up on May 1st and can use volunteers for that night and every Wednesday is la-dies night! Treasure hunt is slowly building back up along with the 50/50! So come out and support the veterans and volunteer and come enjoy the food and drinks and have fellowship! Again, I would like to thank our team of volunteers who regularly attend and help at Post events and meals. We could not accomplish these events without you. Some upcoming dates to be aware of: Treasure Hunt will be each Thursday evening, Cigar and Bourbon nights will be on Wednesdays
May 12th and 26th. The two Saturday breakfasts will be on May 8th and 22nd. We are also planning to have a fish fry (with all the trimmings) on Saturday May 1st. Plan for these events and we hope to see you there. June 4-6 is the State VFW Spring Convention at Marriot East. Get with the Quar-
termaster or myself if you plan on attending. All fees will be covered by the Post. Just another reminder that if you have moved, changed your phone number or email address, that you stop in and leave the new information at the bar or with any Post Officer. Our next Post meeting(s) will be on Mon-day May 10th.
