Pre 475 A.D.• I chose this picture to represent

Poseidon because it just looked great. He is riding his horse chariot in the sea and is looking over it for anyone that is disrespecting him. The picture show him carrying his trident, a weapon he got from the war he fought with his brothers against the Titans. Poseidon is a god not to be messed with when in the sea or near because he can use the sea to engulf any ship or costal town. In conclusion, Poseidon is and always will be, the god of the sea.

Modern• I chose this picture because it

shows that he is the god of the sea. Anyone that doesn’t respect him and his domain, would’ve felt his wrath. As shown by the picture, Poseidon is a strong god, able to create tsunamis to could destroy anything in its path, but chooses to use it only against his enemies. In this picture, it seems that he is helping protect a city from attack by a foreign invader. Poseidon is really the god of the sea.
