BIOGRAPHY

Lucia Fantauzzi born in Italy in 1992. Graduated in 2015 in Perugia, Italy, from NID - Nuovo Istituto Design - and obtained her professional licences as Residential desgner, Commercial designer and Interior designer.During her academic years, her innate love for architecture and design grew even more, thanks also to professional collaborations with local companies.In 2014 she took part and won a design contest (Umami, dai forma al quinto gusto) and the chance to produce her project, Table(t) with Legnomagia company. In 2015 she took part in some Workshops where she met a lot of design personalities, like Matteo Ragni. Since 2012 she has been working on many private projects and some exhibition stands for local companies.

There is a lot of charm in Transparency because it’s what exists but can’t be seen, changing our perception and our way to see the world. In my opinion the Transparency is fascinating as it only exists in correlation with other elements, like glass, for example, that it is visible thanks to reflection and light. I think this well describes the concepts of cooperation and synergy which I deem fundamental, especially in an architecture studio.

The concept of this project aims to create a space for a hostel that can be youthful, funny and easy to access just like a smartphone! This Project would like to create a welcoming space for the hotel guests, with easy to understand directions but also a great sense of confort and ease. In every area of the hostels icons with instructions and information regarding the functionality will be present, resembling the intuitiveness of apps and icons. Every functions will be accessible through the Pull&Push system to resemble what we do everytime we tap on an app!

The client’s brief was to restyle his hallway trasforming it in a multifuncional area that could also contain a corner office in

which he could work. For this project, I got my inspiration from the orthogonal projections in which one element can be seen as many

different ones.

Suitehomeless is a project for homeless people by B-Trade, an Italian company, and it studies an easy to carry cardboard shelter. It is formed by three different parts that can be closed in a backpack shape and carried comfortably. On the outside, a puzzle graphic has the ironic function to create a game in an uncomfortable life situation.

Table(t) is a practical wooden tablet for aperitifs and finger food. It’s 12x12 cm and it has practical holes where you can put glasses, chalices or other food and beverage containers, like small bowls or cones.

Table(t) is the winner of the contest "Umami, dai forma al quinto gusto" (Corciano, PG, 2014) and it is produced by Legnomagia (www.legnomagia.it).

FAG.8

The intent of the project is to create a practical wooden lunch carrier. Fagotto (Fag.8) infact is the italian word for the table cloth that was once used to carry food and beverages everywhere. The funcion of Fag.8 will be the same, but there will be a change the sensorial experience: fabric becomes wood and so it become possible to open the lunch box and use it like a table cloth. In this way, we can feel at home everywhere!

DIVA is a modular ceramic applique that is inspired by Broadway and Hollywood celebrietes. DIVA is inspired by the typical mirror frames of the fitting room and offers a new interpretation and function: a single element divided from the mirror that takes own importance and function. Thanks to its shape, DIVA can also be used as a practical cloth hangers.

Molino is a modern syste for self service bread created for Gel Frigor, an Italian company, which was inspired by the traditional mill’s shape.

The purpose of the project is to create a new, fun and intuitive bread exhibitor to give a special experience to costumers.Infact, Molino remembers the old mill where bread was produced: in this way, tradition is connected to modernity.
