an expository area. Instruction was to make a 3D render of installation to preview visual
impact.

This part contains studies and final results for the image of "Men on the moon", our band, as a tribute to the R.E.M.The logo is obtained from a model of solar system that represents, for me, the desire of knowledge and discovery of the human beings. So I chose this subject because the world of R.E.M. is fascinating and should be discovered by each of us. The style is based on the R.E.M.'s music: simple and pure as the linear typeface, but at the same time distorted as the writing that is eroded by little spots.

I made it with html 2.0 and jQuery plug-in in some parts of the site.
Each site section is compared to a part of a space mission where our activities represent
an astronaut's jobs.Fans, visiting it, can trip with us through the
universe of the R.E.M.'s music.

"Tinteggiature Palma" is a local company of house painters.
This logo represents a paint roller composed by the initials of the name.
The letter P is the handle and the T is a drop attached to the roller.
To transmit the competence and precision of the company a square, symbol of
perfection, contains the logo and at the same time it symbolizes a wall that is
being perfectly painted of a pure white.

This section of portfolio deals with a competition to realize a logo for "Polo museale della cantieristica navale di
Monfalcone".I took inspiration from the structure of a
traditional boat that represents the concepts of history, museum and tradition of boat
yards. I designed a logo from the stylization of this structure characterized by thick and dynamic lines. A square contains all lines
and it creates a tidy movement that evokes the apparent confusion of the boat yards
that, in fact, are very organized. The "PMCNM" acronym follows the trend of the other elements to evoke the typical
writing of modern ships.

2M IDEA GIARDINO"2M idea giardino" is a gardening company that needed a web site to promote their new business about robots to take care of the garden grass.I made the site with HTML 2.0 and jQuery plug-in, giving an image of reliability and professionalism to the company.The robot's innovation is recalled by the modern style of the pages.

Armored Shuttle is a board game designed by me.
All players are pilots of a shuttle that races into the space.
They have to decide their path to reach all planets and how to improve their vehicle.
To evoke the future setting I created a symbol for every part of the game that wants
to be a sort of new language based on the simplification of the written signs.
I used pure colours, mainly black to symbolize the darkness of the deep space,
red for the danger, green for the bonus, yellow for the speed, and light blue for other
symbols.For some written parts I used the "new alphabet" created by Wim Crouwel that
simplifies writing on the screen and I used it as an evolution of the language.
Logo above is created from a composition of the "new alphabet" with some modified
letters to make them clear.At the end some parts of the letters were extended to represent the contrails of the
fast shuttles.

"Chiedilo al tuo dentista" is an campaign of awareness about the risks of low cost dentists and promotion of the Venetian medical service. My work was placed third on this contest promoted by the "Provincial association of the Surgeons and Odontologists of Venice". The logo is composed by three stylized teeth that represent dentists with different experience that try to attract their potential patients.Aqua green, that evokes the colour of the
dentists' uniform and the care of cleanliness, is matched to the dentist with more experience and skills, instead I used grey for other less reliable figures.All the elements are composed to explain to the patients that it is often better to make a choice of quality rather than convenience.

This T-shirt wants to show my passion for music and, in particular, for drums.I was inspired by Hi-hat a component of drums.Thanks to its complex mechanics and its nickname: "Charlie", I represented it like a robot with a big eye that introduces itself to you.

"Artelier" is the name of an art magazine created by my group composed of 3 students, for a design exercise.The atelier is the place where ideas were born and where they become artworks, so our purpose is to illustrate the path from the genius of artists to their final pieces.By adding an "r", the title is transformed into "Art et lier" that means "Art and relationships" in French, indeed the second goal of magazine is to describe the links between artists of the same artistic movement.The font used for the logotype is Didot with different sizes of letters and spaces, to make it more dynamic. The Didot neoclassical
style combines the classic world with
the modern one and it gives a French
accent to the logo.The slogan
"l'arte
nell'artista" (art in the artist) is inspired by a quotation from Ernst Gombrich: "No thing called art exists in reality. Only the artist exists".

I designed this watch with a target: “I want to create a simple and pure object and at the same time original and unusual”.Immediately I thought to use wood that is a simple and natural material, elegant and unusual for a clock. I chose rover wood for its fine grain and its hardness.I combined it with black plastic watch belts to create some contrasts of materials and colours.To make the clock I carved the wood and I adapted a plastic watch to fit into the wood.
