Master Plan:

Beit Shearim is the archeological site of a Jewish town and necropolis. The site is part of the Beit Shearim National Park, which borders the town of Kiryat Tiv'on. It is situated 20 km east of Haifa in the southern foothills of the Lower Galilee. The park is managed by the Israel Nature and National Parks Protection Authority. Between 200-400 C.E., Beit Shearim was the most important burial place in the Jewish world.

The project name, City-Neighborhood-Backyard, expresses its primary theme. There are 3 types of systems that work independently and interactively.

•To utilize the unusable areas between the buildings.•To change the monotone fronts of the buildings.•To provide a solution for the lack of hierarchy in the city.

Neighbourhood Park, Pardes Hana:

In the park we took elements from the area, especially the local view of open fields and orchards, and we combined them to create a new park that incorporated these elements.

zKiryat Eliezer neighbourhood in Haifa consists of old “Shikunim” buildings that were built during the 1950s. These are long structures with small apartments and wide unused open space between them.

In my vision, I am using the unique composition of the buildings and the open space, in order to make it feel like it belongs to the residents.

The Path that can be seen in the master plan and in the detail plan, goes through the whole neighbourhood and receives a different architectural language that breaks the orthogonal paths that are so typical in this place.

Walking path referred to in the master plan is treated with a different design language, in contrast to the legacy orthogonal lines of the neighborhood.

As a result, the path provides a welcoming environment and a natural gathering point.
