December 5, 2012 Greetings! December is finally upon us and it seems like time is speeding up as the year begins to conclude. Although, with the warmer weather outside, you wouldn’t have guessed we’re in December (thankfully). All of us at the Port have been very busy. The elves snuck in shortly after Thanksgiving and transformed the whole restaurant into a Winter Wonderland. It is absolutely beautiful and really stimulates such a calming atmosphere to enjoy time with loved ones. All of our pictures can be seen on our Facebook page in case you missed it and want to see before/after your next visit. Maybe this could be the perfect backdrop for your family’s own holiday card or portrait? For those still considering where to host your holiday parties, please join us at the Port. With all of the beautiful decorations, we have an amazing atmosphere that you and your guests will absolutely love. Plus, we have numerous different options available from full menu service to customized menus, to a buffet selection. Lee Ann is able to tailor the perfect banquet for any size group and has numerous spots open in terms of availability. Please call or email us for more information and to discuss your upcoming celebration with us. Remember, for parties of twenty (20) guests or more who book before December 15 th, on a weeknight (Sunday through Thursday), will receive 10% of the food portion of the bill. Don’t forget with holiday parties also comes the upcoming arrival of a New Year. On Monday, December 31, 2012, we will be OPEN! We are open exclusively to celebrate the emergence of 2013 and of course we have great entertainment and specials lined up. We’ll be opening at 4:00 pm for dinner and will be open all evening long until after midnight. From 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm you can join us for our “Early Bird” Specials. Escape the craziness of the evening; this will be especially appealing to you. The normal dinner menu will be served through 10:00 pm and the bar will be rocking with the Hudson McCoy Band until after our Champagne toast at midnight. Did we mention it’s a complimentary toast? Bring your special someone and join us for a night full of fun and celebrating.

***Coming in Early 2013*** In the next few weeks we will be very excited to premiere our new and improved lunch menu. As many of you will recall, we transitioned earlier in 2012 to a reformatted, streamlined menu that has been in place for both lunch and dinner hours. After much work and thought, we are extremely proud of our upcoming lunch menu that will feature new additions to the Port, some which take us back to our roots as the Anchor Lounge and pizzeria days. We cannot wait to have the final version printed and ready. We’ll be marking its grand premiere soon and we’ll be sure to send announcements as soon as it’s ready.
