August 31, 2011 Poised for M ont hly Closes a bove 11,491 Dow and 1210.7 SPX

If todays closes are above my annual pivots at 11,491 Dow and 1210.7 SPX the upside is to

annual risky levels at 5179 Dow Transports and 784.16 Russell 2000. The 50-day and 200-daysimple moving averages are in a negative formation called the Death Cross 11,926 / 11,990Dow Industrials, 1257.6 / 1283.77 SPX, 2657 / 2704 NASDAQ, 5016 / 5137 Dow Transports and378.84 and 416.62 Russell 2000. If todays month end closes are below 11,491 Dow and 1210.7SPX the risk is back to 2335 on the NASDAQ. Tomorrow I will be presenting a set of newmonthly risky levels based on the past eight monthly closes plus todays month end closes.

10-Year Note (2.188) Daily, semiannual, weekly, annual and quarterly value levels are 2.291, 2.414,2.428, 2.690 and 3.053 with weekly and semiannual risky levels at 1.914 and 1.672.

Comex Gold ($1840.6) Quarterly, semiannual and monthly value levels are $1655.8, $1644.8 and$1604.1 with a daily pivot at $1819.0 and weekly risky level at $1907.5.


Nymex Crude Oil ($88.69) The 200-week SMA is $83.85 with a weekly pivot at $86.56, my dailyrisky level at $90.25, the 50-day / 200 day death cross at $91.77 and $95.18, my annual pivots at

$99.91 and $101.92 and quarterly and semiannual risky levels at $102.40 and $103.92.
