Àrd-sgoil a’ Phluic 2-6 Giblean 2018 Plockton High School 2-6 April 2018 Bidh Fèis an Earraich a’ tachairt a h-uile bliadhna air feadh sgìre an Eilein Sgitheanaich agus Loch Aillse, a’ toirt cothroim do dh’oigridh pàirt a ghabhail anns na h-ealain Gàidhlig. Am-bliadhna bidh sinn anns a’ Phloc leis an 30mh Fèis làn chiùil, dràma, spòrs agus fealla-dha, agus tha sinn an dòchas gun gabh sibh an cothrom a bhith còmhla rinn tro sheachdain na Fèise. The aim of the week is to offer young people an enjoyable opportunity to receive intensive tuition in a range of subjects or instruments related to traditional music, Gaelic language and culture. As well as the daily classes, there will be a full programme of evening activities including games, sports and a cèilidh dance. Applications are welcome from children and young people from P5 to S6 High School. *NB P4 children would be welcome to participate in the Fèis if they are already taking music lessons and have referral from a teacher/tutor. Those wishing to attend Fèis nan Deugairean should contact [email protected] for an application form. Bidh cuspairean ri fhaighinn tro mheadhan na Gàidhlig do chlann ann am FtG is bidh sinn a’ brosnachadh cleachdadh na Gàidhlig tro obair na Fèise air fad. Fèis an Earraich is open to all and participants do not have to be Gaelic speakers. Most classes will be available through the medium of Gaelic, for GM pupils, and the use of Gaelic throughout the Fèis will be warmly encouraged. Àite-fuirich | Accommodation There will be accommodation available in Plockton High School residence. Those living within 15 miles of Plockton will be expected to travel daily but all are welcome at the evening activities. Accommodation will be prioritised for participants living in outlying areas of Skye, Lochalsh and Wester Ross. There will be a waiting list in the event of additional beds being available. Tasgadh | Deposit A deposit of £50 per child is payable at the time of booking. Anyone wishing to pay in full may do so.
