Please join us for our annual
4th of July PITA Shoot
July 3rd, 4th & 5th, 2020
Come One—Come All
Please be advised, this shoot is contingent
upon Thurston County, WA being in Phase 3!
$525.00
Added Money
Hello Shooters!
Here are the guidelines and requirements for our actions as stipulated by the State
of Washington and Thurston County for Covid-19. Please read this, please!
The priority of the Evergreen Sportsmen's Club is to do our part in facilitating this shoot to assure your safety and
well-being. With the utmost appreciation, we request you do your part in accomplishing this goal.
We are proceeding with the intent to hold this shoot in accord within the directives and guidelines stipulated by
the State of Washington and Thurston county. We will do everything within our power to adhere to those directives
and guidelines. If we feel this cannot be accomplished, and sustained throughout the shoot, we will not proceed.
Covid-19 has thrown a curve ball, but we don’t want to whiff. We will continue to monitor the official communica-
tions from the State of Washington and Thurston county. As we get closer to the shoot, we will update the status on
the WSPITA website, the PITA website, as well as our own website: www.shootesc.org.
The pandemic of Covid-19 will have a dramatic affect on the way this shoot is held. Please pay particular
attention to the list below as they will be strictly enforced:
1. Lounging in the clubhouse at Evergreen is prohibited! When you arrive you will see pathways have cordoned
off to access the bathroom and the registration process. Please follow those pathways.
2. Any food which you bring, must be consumed outside the clubhouse. Our kitchen is currently closed.
3. Social distancing is mandatory. We realize this may be the first time you will see many of your friends in
person in some time. Respect them, respect yourself and respect their and your loved ones at home and keep
your distance. It has been established the virus mostly spreads from person to person via close contact or
respiratory droplets. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention defines close contact as being within 6 feet
or having direct contact with bodily fluids—coughing, sneezing or respiratory droplets.
4. Facial Masks: We understand these are a very sensitive issue. It is our request they be worn, covering both the
nose and mouth, at all times. On 05/27/2020, Thurston county passed into Phase 2 and the county health officer,
Dr. Diana Yu issued a directive requiring everyone to wear a face covering, except when eating or drinking, at
indoor public settings, or at outdoor public areas where 6 feet of social distancing cannot be maintained. We
will following these directives or others which may supersede these before the shoot. If you believe they inter-
fere with your shooting, while physically shooting on the trap line, it would be acceptable to not wear one. One
more time, please respect others as well as yourself and wear your facial mask. Thank you!
5. Facial Masks #2: MUST be worn, covering nose and mouth for the registration process—when in line to
register, to squad and payment.
6. Outside benches have been positioned for your use which adhere to distancing.
7. Absolutely no money will be exchanged during this shoot. Payments must be made by check or credit card
only! There will not be any exceptions. Prize money will be mailed.
8. Only the squad leader should approach the scorer’s chair at the conclusion of the round. Do not converge on the
scorer. Respect their space!
9. Finally, common sense should prevail. We are here to enjoy the sport we love. If we all do the right things, we
will leave here Sunday afternoon thrilled with having the opportunity to participate in that sport!
Thank you and have a great shoot!

expressing my thanks to you for considering attending our shoot. I hope you can
