Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again
by a yoke of slavery.” Galatians 5:1
WELCOME: We are happy to have you join us this evening
for our Independence Day service. May you hearts be opened
to God’s word and transformed to be the person Christ created
you to be.
PRAYER & PRAISES
We are praising God along with Clair Dyk, a member of our
congregation in assisted living in Sioux Falls, who had an
annual PET scan come back clean. Several years ago, Clair was
dealing with extensive cancer throughout his body, and so we
are thankful for God’s provisions and healing for another year!
OUR ANNOUNCEMENTS
We welcome our sister churches in joining us for our
Independence Day evening worship. We would also like to
welcome Rev. Dan Ebbens. He will be bringing the message,
“Stuck in the Middle”, from Ephesians 2.
Fellowship After Worship: This past week, the church council
decided that we would resume providing coffee, juice and
cookies after morning worship, beginning next week (July 12).
You will be encouraged to grab your refreshments from the
kitchen window and then proceed out either of the side doors to
enjoy fellowship outside. For those who are uncomfortable
preparing and serving refreshments for health reasons, please
contact the church office upon your turn coming up. List of
upcoming servers are on the back page of bulletin.
Help Needed!! If anyone would be interested in helping cut out
flannelgraph for Sunday School, please contact Sara Backes at
680-4487. Many hands make light work!

will be having a Community Prayer Meeting, at the picnic
pavilion of South Park. Though some seating is available, if
you are able, you may want to bring your own. In the event of
inclement weather, we will meet at the CRC. With questions

Hoekema, Vice President
