RECYCLING PAVILION
For the f i rst t ime, at the Recycl ing Pavi l ion, l ive
demonstrat ion of recycl ing of plast ics was
exhibited at PLASTINDIA 2009. Waste material from
the exhibition was collected, segregated and
recycled at the pavi l ion. This exhibi t ion of
recycl ing was highly successful and appreciated by
visi tors at Plast india 2009.
ENERGY CONSERVATION PAVIL ION
The Energy Conservation Pavili on was an innovation
at PLASTINDIA 2009, where a pavilion was
dedicated to demonstrate the use of plast ics in
energy conservation. Exhibitors demonstrated the
eff iciency of use of plast ics, as also i ts energy
conservat ion ut i l i ty.
END USER PAVILI ON
The End User Pavilion was another first at
PLASTINDIA 2009. Users of pl astics showcased their
products, and the processing sector was encouraged
to develop solutions for the end users products.
PROPLAST THE FINAL WORD IN PROCESSED PLASTIC
A PLASTINDIA 2006 initiative, it exhibited remarkable
progress made by Indian plastic processing industry and
showcased Indias enhanced capacities as a preferred source
of i nternat ional standard plast ic product.
INDO-CHINA SUMMIT
Concurrent with PLASTINDIA 2009; where both countries
discussed business trade complementat ion. The summit
aimed at further strengthening the trade in plastic between the

The 5th Plasticon Awards was held concurrently with
PLASTINDIA 2009, where innovators from the Indian Plastics
Industry were felicitated for their accomplishments and

Plastindia Foundation
associat ions, organizat ions, and inst i tut ions connected with plast ics, with
common object ives to promote the development of the plast ics industry and
to assist the growth of plastics and related materials. The Foundation is
dedicated towards national progress through plastics.
The key focus of the Foundation is to facilitate export led growth of the
