Plasma Pulse Enhanced Oil Recovery Technology

January 2014Novas Energy

Invented Technology in 2000 with further financial help from the Skolkovo Foundation--allied with Microsoft, General Electric, Intel, Nokia, Bessemer Trust Company & Siemens.

Novas Energy USAA wholly owned subsidiary of Propell Technologies Group, Inc. listed on the OTC stock exchange symbol: PROP is the Exclusive LicenseeORGANIZATION CHART

There are four (4) states of matter: gas, solids, liquid and plamsaPlasma can only be created for a short period artificially and contains various properties such as an electro-magnetic wave. The electro-magnetic wave, when properly adjusted for frequency, intensity and duration, is the key to making temporary molecular changes in liquids that cause them to have lowered viscosity and surface tension from the surrounding solid formations (carbonates, dolomites, sandstone, limestone). In oil and water wells, plasma is emitted through a down-hole device approximately 9 feet in length and is charged from the surface at a rate of less than 500 watts. This is extremely low power but results in a resolute wave of energy that can travel nearly a mile under ground.Depending on API Gravity, Temperature, Pressure, Permeability, Porosity, formation and other factors; the effectiveness of the EMP wave can last from months to years.

UNDERSTANDING PLASMA

- 9 feet - 200 pounds - Connection to wire line

Surface ControllerPlasma Pulse Streamer discharges plasma at the perforation zone Tool generates a Plasma Arc that creates a tremendous amount of heat for a fraction of a second TECHNOLOGY OVERVIEW Treatment applied via a downhole tool using a wire-line truckCompletely safe & environmentally friendly

No chemicals - No wasteTECHNOLOGY OVERVIEW

The series of elastic waves penetrate deep into the reservoir increasing permeabilityThe heat, subsequent cooling and compression wave created from the plasma removes any clogged sedimentation near the well boreThe end result is an increase in oil production that will last from 6 to 14 months

Plasma Emission Omni-DirectionalVery fast; very low power; amplitude of elastic wave determined by repetitive emission of the EMPVery safe; in treating over 200 Wells Across Three Continents there has never been damage to a well or a field incidentEach Well Requires a Unique Treatment Plan Based on Historical Data: production/decline curve, pressure, temperature, fluid levels, API gravity, permeability, porosity, well logs, water or gas contact points, multi or single stage fracs, thickness of pay-zone, intervals of perforation, open or closed completion, depth of well, paraffin, sulfur content (sweet or sour gas presence).May affect surrounding production up to 3/4 mile in distance from the well being treated.Proven to Increase RECOVERABLE reserves.CHARACTERISTICS OF TREATMENT
