AN INTRODUCTION TO BUYING PLASMA Plasma treatment and the technology, training and technique behind it has rapidly become one of the most talked about treatments in the beauty world and for good reason. With the right device, training, best practice and infrastructure then the results are stunning and it is an incredibly sought after next-generation treatment among consumers all over the world. As a potential new technician, it can be a minefield choosing a good device. In what’s become a highly competitive space, we see a great deal of fake news, false or grossly misleading claims and outright, blatant scams. We spend a lot of our time exposing rogue traders, correcting misinformation and supporting technicians who’ve been victims of “bait and switch” scams. As the undisputed market leader with the ubiquitous device, global, permanently staffed infrastructure, 26 years in SPMU and academies and technicians all over the world then we wanted to respond to some of the questions and concerns that we regularly deal with from new buyers by releasing this “Buyers Guide To Plasma” stating our opinions. Plasma Pen by Louise Walsh International agree there are some good devices out there which are viable alternatives to ours in certain scenarios. We believe that professional competition serves as a positive force us since it pushes us to stay at the cutting edge, to continually pioneer and to remain unrelenting in our absolute focus on maintaining our market leading position. Even with the #1 go-to device for technicians and the queen of PMU & SPMU at the helm; we’ll never be complacent. We embrace good competition in an enormous worldwide market enjoying astonishing growth. Tomorrow’s plasma technicians are free to choose any device they wish today so we’re not here to disparage the peers we recognise as having valid, quality devices. That said, we do wish to make buyers beware of the dangers of purchasing (or even using) some of the disreputable products and people out there and protect you from falling foul of the lies, bad practices and wild claims we see. As the domain experts we regularly converse with other leaders in this field - many of whom we manufacture devices for ourselves under white label. Naturally, all plasma technicians want to use the best equipment. That’s what savvy end-consumers demand and technicians want to be empowered to deliver the best treatments to their clients. We hope this guide helps you ask the right questions and make the right choice. If you choose us then fantastic - you’ll be joining a global and thriving community of Elite Technicians using the best device across every benchmark. Whoever you choose, what want you to takeaway from this guide is an appreciation of how you wouldn’t buy a blowtorch to perform laser eye surgery. It would be commercial suicide for you and disastrous for your patient. If you buy cheap then you will buy twice - a big percentage of our clientele comes from technicians stepping up from lesser or bad devices. We wish you all the best commercially with whatever professional plasma device you choose. Dylan Pemberton Group Managing Director Plasma Pen by Louise Walsh International

TOP TIPS: EIGHT THINGS YOU MUST CONSIDER/ASK: (1) BEWARE! IS IT A “BAIT AND SWITCH” OF OUR AUTHENTIC PLASMA PEN?

Given our unparalleled success, our market domination, our global brand and the incredible demand for our Plasma Pen device among clients and technicians alike then “bait and switch” activity comes as no surprise to us nor to the many banks, credit card providers and insurers we often end up working with to retrospectively help unwitting victims of scams get their money back from the scammers. Plasma Pen by Louise Walsh International is a trademarked brand. That fact doesn’t seem to percolate down to the unscrupulous providers, agents and disreputable individuals trying to cash in on our good name. We’ve regularly see our imagery, our before and after pictures and even our logo used to entice people to buy one product (the bait) before selling them another (switch).

The only place to buy an official Plasma Pen, training and the other major branded products that we manufacture, stock and sell all over the world is directly via Louise Walsh International and/or from one of our directly appointed distributors around the world (all of whom we can validate for you with a simple phone call or email to our HQ). They’re not available anywhere else. We don’t have people selling our pens individually or delivering one-to-one training. We don’t sell devices on Ebay or other third party sites. Having scaled up to a new Global Head Office in Southport to accommodate demand after 22 years in Rodney Street; the only places our authorised Plasma Pen training and certification is delivered is either there or at one of our official training academies around the world (all fully endorsed, managed and quality controlled by Head Office). All bookings for non-HQ courses and the delivery of products to you are overseen by our sales, marketing and operations team here at HQ.

Bottom line - if you’re not purchasing a Plasma Pen and training from Louise Walsh International or from an official, approved distributor then it is likely fake, a scam or some other ruse. Anyone claiming to be working “independently” with Louise’s “permission” and selling Plasma Pen and/or training in Plasma Pen is potentially defrauding you. Anyone trying to leverage how they are somehow “Plasma Pen” and/or “Louise Walsh” trained or approved yet selling another (usually plastic) device is someone to steer well clear of. If in doubt always contact us directly and just ask.

(2) IS THE DEVICE A TRUE PLASMA DEVICE OR NO BETTER THAN A SPOT PEN?

Incredibly, there are many devices out there being sold as plasma devices but which simply aren’t. Most often, these devices only fire an electric arc which merely burns the skin. At best, they are usually only designed for personal skin tag and mole removal. If the device you are being offered is just a small plastic, battery operated device then the odds are high that it is not a true plasma device. It may be unsuitable for professional use and many of these pens are outright dangerous. They are a key reason we see undervalued, £100 treatments out there.

Most of these pens can be bought for as little as $10, usually from China. We regularly see them sold on, with a new label and often woeful training, for thousands of pounds by the scammers (who will provide elaborate backstories of how they invented them). This is a common scam in the UK, Canada, Scandinavia and elsewhere. If it’s too good to be true then it usually is. We all see £10k Rolex watches on sale for £50 but they’re clearly not authentic and will break in minutes! We have yet to see any legitimate plasma device capable of delivering authentic and professional plasma treatment for less than £2,500 plus training and consumables. Don’t take our word for it - just visit one of the worlds’ biggest trade outlets at www.alibaba.com shown in the image above and type in the words Plasma Pen. You’ll be astonished by what you find. Outside of the very large, powerful, “Medical Grade” plastic devices (which can be expensive but often very good products) then if the device is just a small, standalone, battery operated device - perhaps with a USB style plug/adapter - you should be dubious in terms of its validity, capability and price. Be inquisitive and exercise great caution before purchasing as it may only be a spot pen for personal mole and spot removal yet you may be paying thousands for the device and training despite it only costing a few dollars! Even if the device is capable of delivering plasma you may find the plasma delivery to be erratic. Bear in mind that even with Apple iPhones then, over time, rechargeable batteries can degrade and have a finite shelf-life.

One scam we frequently see from rogue traders with these cheap, plastic devices is fake news like how they’ve “just come out of” some kind of “industry authority meeting” or some other fictitious “government committee” (no such authority or government committee exists). They will cite great news that “all devices with plugs are to be banned”. This is laughable and only scammers trying to sell you cheap, plastic, underpowered and garbage devices with either poor plasma delivery or no plasma delivery at all will try to convince you plug and play devices are a bad thing. For the record, Plasma Pen by Louise Walsh International is manufactured in Germany and CE Certified. Our device is not operated by a battery, via a separate console, does not have a power converter and UK/EU/US plugs etc. are all available so there’s no need to plug it into an adaptor.

(3) IS THE PEN CE CERTIFIED & EVEN MADE WHERE THE PROVIDER SAYS?

Truth be told, there is probably no scientific reason why a German manufactured device like ours should, on paper, be any better or worse manufactured than one made in South East Asia. There is of course a great deal of cachet and gravitas in a device like ours being fully manufactured in Berlin (or even in Italy or many other EU countries like other brands we respect are manufactured) but it’s really not a showstopper if the device itself is actually any good.

What is important is being told the truth. If a supplier falsely claims their device is made in the UK when it’s actually manufactured in South East Asia then this could be indicative of how they are as a business. If their device is made in China, Korea or Malaysia and merely assembled or put into a box in the UK then that’s fine but they should have the integrity and the faith in the provenance of their manufacturing and their supply chain to just admit it. Nobody likes to be lied to! CE Certification is a straightforward quality standard that is essentially just self-certification by a manufacturer that their device meets certain standards, criteria, classifications and directives. Plasma Pen by Louise Walsh International is fully CE Certified. Some small providers like to eye-gouge and claim others don’t have certification but we can assure you, as the major manufacturer in this space, that not having CE Certification is the equivalent of buying an expensive Van Gogh painting and not bothering to spend an extra couple of pounds to buy a hook to hang it up with! That said, there are certain notorious providers, often the one man bands, who either haven’t invested in certification or who have questionable and ambiguous/invalid CE Certification (often self-certified to incorrect standards, classifications and applications or against incorrect EU directives). A pen having legitimate CE Certification is of course an essential box to tick when buying a device. You certainly shouldn’t buy a pen that isn’t because if the device can’t get a legitimate CE mark that’s a huge red flag. The CE mark should be printed on the device itself along with where the device was manufactured. If the device you are purchasing does not have clear CE Certification then your course of action should be simple - do not purchase it. If the provider has not invested in this most basic of certification or obfuscated it then you could be buying a potentially unsafe and unapproved device. As an aside, if there is any kind of label or sticker obscuring anything on your device perhaps using words like “warranty void if removed” then this is usually another warning sign. We would strongly advise you choose another device since that sticker may be hiding something.

(4) HOW LONG, HOW EXPENSIVE AND HOW VALID IS THEIR TRAINING?

If the training sounds like a Scientology programme where you have to keep paying extra money just to get the next level be very cautious! Plasma treatment is a relatively simple procedure both to learn and to administer. Subject to the basics already being in place from the technician in terms of their existing experience, we find that a one-day intensive course of academic and practical training (underpinned by world class pre-course material and our famous ongoing support, aftercare and technician community) is usually more than enough. The existence of longer courses is usually because the provider offering training doesn’t have their own device or just sells white-label versions of someone else’s device (often ours as we manufacture for many brands).

Some trainers charge more and/or stretch out the length of their training over an extended period of time as they need to justify their increased costs to you. Good luck and fair play to them – training is probably their main revenue source and not the device. For us it is the other way around. Exercise common sense before being pushed into buying a particular device from an “independent plasma trainer” as they will have vested interests and tend to not exist since a quality provider would unlikely work with any partner selling multiple competitive devices! If you feel you’re being press-ganged into buying a device you’re not comfortable with then ask tough questions or walk away. If you’re approached to get trained but handed an odd looking plastic contraption or have been invited to become a “Master Trainer” yet asked to hand out thousands of pounds for the privilege then this should ring alarm bells. We pay our Master Trainers - they don’t pay us! Think about the practical things too – will the trainer and the content be delivered to you in your own language? Is the trainer travelling a huge distance just to train just you or a very small group? If so does that not worry you? Are they really that desperate for your money or are they really marking up the true value of their device? Be wary.

(5) WHAT TIME-SERVED EXPERIENCE DOES THE TRAINER HAVE?

In terms of the trainer’s own experience, we often hear wild and wonderful stories. Many people claim to have invented plasma but the truth is the only ones who can say that are Nikola Tesla from the late nineteenth century and certain other high profile physicists and scientists from the last century! In terms of us mere mortals who’ve exploited plasma in its current form; we really have to thank an Italian company called Plexr - a highly respected, high quality business who manufacture and sell the medical grade plasma devices typically used by plastic surgeons. Everyone in our industry has them to thank for where we are today because the miniaturized, contemporary devices you see are all largely a derivative of their product.

The current use and application of this technology is still in its infancy. There are people who’ve appeared in this industry who didn’t know how to spell SPMU two years ago! The same people may claim to be beauty experts and the inventors of plasma! When it comes to training, don’t believe the hyperbole. Fact is there are no plasma rockstars, no actual plasma inventors currently training anyone (unless Tesla has risen from the grave) and no Jedi Masters who’ve been doing this for 5 years as just didn’t exist then as it does now!

Louise Walsh didn’t invent plasma but she perfected it. It’s fair to say that Louise Walsh has been in the field of plasma as long as anyone really since she was the primary distributor for a former market leader even before launching the brand which is now the current largest player in this industry. What does make Louise different to the ‘new kids on the block’ is the fact she’s the Celebrity Technician and Artist responsible for bringing SPMU to the UK over 26 years ago. Louise already had a high-profile and long-standing reputation across TV, print and digital media around the world and she brought all her existing global infrastructure and network to the table when she launched Plasma Pen in late 2017 to enormous acclaim.

Fact is, Louise has been a respected trainer, celebrity aesthetician, beauty entrepreneur and world leader in SPMU/PMU for decades and trusted to supply major department stores like Harrods and Harvey Nichols. She's the domain expert who wrote the book on best practice, world class plasma treatment and technique and she leads all our other highly qualified, world class international plasma trainers from the front. You don’t become vogue and a shaker and a mover in beauty overnight and, given such a high profile career in the media spotlight and having featured in Cosmopolitan, The Daily Telegraph, Glamour, OK Magazine, Elle, Tatler, Woman’s Own, Daily Mail, Look, The Sun and even the cover article and a four page spread in May 2018’s Pro Beauty Magazine (as well as appearing on many ITV and Channel 4 TV shows), it’s no surprise that Louise Walsh is VCTC and attained The CIDESCO Diploma - the world's most prestigious qualification and international standard for Aesthetics and Beauty Therapy since 1957.

In terms of experience then what’s important is the existence of robust and professional infrastructure, well-devised and proven training content, a fully-staffed, permanent team and all the expert skills and direct experience developed by supporting tens of thousands of plasma procedures all around the world. Plasma treatment is complimentary to many other treatments too so the time-served credibility gained by people like Louise on the front line of the beauty world over decades is critical for there to be a detailed understanding of the wider aesthetic and cosmetic field. If the training does not cover the absolute core basics - hygiene, commercialisation, aftercare, contraindications, anaesthetics, deep dives on the skin, risks, the science and much more then you should be concerned. Not being fully trained by genuine plasma experts is a potentially hazardous limitation that could leave you ill-informed and ill-prepared to deliver professional plasma treatment. If the person behind the plasma was never anything else in beauty, that’s a huge concern.

(6) WHAT INFRASTRUCTURE AND SUPPORT DO THEY HAVE? There are many one-man bands out there in plasma (which is fine to a degree) but you have to compare their capabilities and support to a major manufacturer/brand like us and the other leaders.

We have tremendous physical, international infrastructure which is all tethered to a fully and permanently staffed flagship HQ, a master plasma academy and a global distribution and operations centre that serves and supports a thriving community technicians from all over the world in a practically on-demand, 24/7 way. We manufacture and supply our own entire branded range of pre and post treatment products plus we supply a raft of other value-added products designed to help our technicians deliver the best service to their clients before, during and after their plasma procedure. We have a heavyweight sales, marketing, digital, training and management team who all support our technicians with the best content and business-in-a-box material they need to deliver world class consultations, treatments and aftercare. We simply couldn’t do that from a bedroom, from a coffee shop or from a tiny clinic!

Some questions you should be asking any potential provider when undertaking your due diligence: Where is their Head Office? Have they even got a physical location/base? Have they got a fully

registered company with a group structure and VAT registration? What infrastructure do they have in place to support you as a technician? Have they got a fully

staffed team across all the key areas or is it just them and maybe a trainer? When Do they have a professional location in your own country? Do they even speak your language? What do you really know about the people behind their business? Do they hard sell or consult? Apart from the device, what other branded products have they got and which you will need?

Page 9: PLASMA PEN BY LOUISE WALSH INTERNATIONALassets.cdnma.com/18265/assets/Plasma Pen by Louise... · Plasma Pen by Louise Walsh International is fully CE Certified. Some small providers

Have you got an idea of what’s included in your training? Is their content - training or otherwise - all of a high standard or Google translated and/or ripped from other major providers like us?

What are their time-served beauty qualifications? Do they even have proper certification at all? What kind of feel do you get for them on the phone, in person or across their social media? Had

you ever heard of them before or did they suddenly approach you from out of nowhere after you commented on something else on social media (a common trick used by scammers)?

Are they demanding cash payment or pressing you to book “the last remaining slot” on a training course? Have they suddenly agreed to come and deliver a demo, one-to-one training or training to a very small group? Do they come across as desperate for your business?

Have they approached you about becoming some kind of master trainer or agent for them but then insisted you need to pay them for the privilege?

Have you seen written or video testimonials? Have you scrutinised comments and feedback on their social media? Do you have nagging doubts?

(7) DO YOU UNDERSTAND THE FEATURES & BENEFITS OF THE DEVICE?

All devices have their strengths and weaknesses. Some users, for example, will want a medical grade device because of the nature of their work (perhaps they require a device with very intensive properties for surgical procedures). Others will maybe need a device that can rapidly spray large areas and will thus forgo precision for a pen which is ablative in nature (perhaps because they focus on full body procedures). Most users however will want a versatile device that doesn’t cost the earth.

Here are some opinions, considerations, features and benefits that we have put together for you: Probe size The smaller the probe then the more precise the treatment which can be

delivered. Smaller probes deliver more micro trauma which not only delivers better results but underpins faster recovery and shorter downtimes. Plasma Pen by Louise Walsh International offers the world’s most ultra-fine probes (0.4mm, see image above) which, across thousands and thousands of treatments have been shown to dramatically outperform those of our major peers. The thicker the probe then the more unlikely it is the probe can be adjusted/bent. Our probes can be adjusted/bent at will - a huge plus for technicians and patients. Larger probes increase the chance of scarring and/or pitting to the patient. It is also more likely the treatment will be painful and the chances of the client suffering significant swelling will be higher it will with the smaller precision trauma caused by smaller probes.

Probe design Some probes are attached like a drill bit which is generally considered poor

design as they are more prone to becoming loose, to snapping, to not be adjustable and to not be able to easily reach certain areas using certain techniques. These probes tend to be generic and easily cloned leading to technicians sometimes buying unsterilized, unhygienic and even dangerous copies. They may use metals and alloys that are not optimal or even safe for plasma delivery. They may not be individually sealed and instead bunched together in one container. Our probes are screw-in, they are completely unique to our device and they are supplied individually in sterile and hygienically sealed packaging with lot numbers and expiry dates.

Plasma delivery It is not about having the most powerful plasma. We are merely trying to target fibroblasts in the dermis which actually doesn’t take much power to achieve. The larger and more powerful the arc of plasma then the more chance of damaging the surrounding tissue, the higher the risk of causing scarring and/or pitting and the less chance of an optimal result. Many devices either have unnecessarily powerful plasma arcs or highly erratic arcs of plasma which just don’t “fire” when they should and are thus difficult to anticipate and control. This leads to longer treatment times, unpredictable results, frustration and ad-hoc, inconsistent spotting. We believe our device has the world’s most efficient delivery of plasma which underscores rapid treatment times that benefit both patients and technicians alike.

Intensity settings We are not fans of different intensity settings on a device for the simple

reason that the delivery of plasma should always be fingertip controlled and on-demand. The notion of controlling plasma delivery by a foot pedal or by a dial on a separate device it’s attached too or by an adjustable setting is counter-intuitive to us and to most technicians. The thinking behind there even being different intensity settings is usually to protect the patient from certain types of technician (like an aesthetician) being able to go too “hard” when using a high-powered device compared to another level of technician (like a cosmetic surgeon). We believe (as do the UK regulators working with us directly to help them create the forthcoming standards which will be implemented here in the UK by 2020) that the bias should always be set towards the device being in the “off” position. Our pen already does this by design. Our plasma will simply not “fire” unless the button is depressed and when the probe is at the right distance from the skin. There is no eventuality with our device where a plasma arc can be unilaterally created by the actions of a machine or by a pre-selected setting - only by fingertip control.

Metallic elements We have seen and used some devices where metallic elements of the

machine are exposed - elements where the electrical and/or electrostatic energy is being transmitted through to the applicator tip. We have touched this area during treatment and received electric shocks. Some of these manufacturers have stated, incredibly, that their technicians should wear plasters on their fingers to avoid shocks! We find this staggering - especially when technicians are performing treatments very close to the eye using a device with a sharp tip on it! There should never be any scenario where a technician receives any kind of shock from a device while it is in use or not. No such exposed metallic element exists with our Plasma Pen.

Power supply Plasma Pen by Louise Walsh International are not advocates of battery

operated devices, USB powered devices or devices that require a converter or adaptor to work as we feel that could compromise plasma delivery. Assuming the device you are considering is an authentic plug and play device then you should ask whether it comes with an integral plug for your location (i.e. US, EU, UK plug etc.) or whether it would have to be used with an adaptor plug. If it’s the latter, you should ask the supplier to consider manufacturing a device with a native plug for your territory.

Ergonomic design Even though it would have been much cheaper for us to manufacture a

plastic or a fiberglass device, it just doesn’t fit with our own high quality

Page 11: PLASMA PEN BY LOUISE WALSH INTERNATIONALassets.cdnma.com/18265/assets/Plasma Pen by Louise... · Plasma Pen by Louise Walsh International is fully CE Certified. Some small providers

Copyright Plasma Pen by Louise Walsh International 2018

ethos. Technicians tell us they prefer our lightweight, luxury feeling and sleek aluminum pen anyway. There are some devices as big as a food blender which can require two hands to hold so each to their own on that front! Whatever the size of the pen; the overall ergonomics of any device is incredibly important for the user so you must consider everything from the size of it, the weight of it in your hand, its balance, how the button feels to depress (if there even is a button), how easy it is to insert/remove a probe, how easy it is to maneuver etc. All of this contributes to how you deliver a treatment, how long that treatment takes and how exerting it can be during a long procedure.

(8) HAVE THE USE AND APPLICATIONS OF THE DEVICE BEEN EXAGGERATED?

We see all sorts of claims of what plasma devices can actually do which range from the sublime to the ridiculous. We’ve seen them sold as ideal for tattoo removal (which, although technically possible, to an extent, is a stretch of the capabilities of any device). Can plasma technology be used for mole, spot, freckle, wart and skin tag removal? Yes but plasma technology has not really been designed for that purpose and there are potentially better tools and treatments for that than with a plasma device. The fact is plasma technology is principally designed for skin lifting, skin tightening and rejuvenation. That’s more than enough! If the provider has to claim their pen is a cure-all device and is the deliverer of medical miracles then they are dramatically exaggerating its capabilities and we would seriously question their motivations and professionalism by doing so.

In terms of available treatments; we’re fortunate to have the worlds’ largest and most experienced group of highly talented, Elite Technicians plus a heavyweight panel of leading surgeons and medical advisors to advise us. Many of our technicians dramatically extend the art of the possible with our device given its unique suite of features which are simply not available elsewhere in combination. We see amazing tummy tucks, breast lift procedures and much more but these are all non-standard treatments. Although treatments like this are not necessarily difficult to administer; they do require a great deal of experience gained over many diverse procedures, especially to understand the different healing and the advanced aftercare regime which is thus required. Most new technicians should focus on facial treatments - especially since the most go-to procedure with any plasma device is blepharoplasty. There is simply no other treatment (outside of plastic surgery) which can be administered on the eyelids except genuine plasma treatment. If any device can deliver optimal results after one session it’s ours but we never promise one treatment will be enough. Any providers’ claims to the contrary are grossly misleading.

TOP TIPS: WHAT CAN YOU DO TO PROTECT YOURSELF? Here are some of our top tips that you can use to be doubly sure you get a professional device that is something savvy end customers actually want to be treated with and that will deliver you a return on investment and fully protect you in the delivery of your treatments in terms of insurance etc:

If you don’t already know the provider then, before you buy, ask them to give you a free taster session where you can audit their device, their team, their training and their infrastructure without any obligation. Ask to compare their product alongside the products of others because any major manufacturer will likely have the competitive devices to hand. Any provider confident in their product should be happy to do this before you hand over a single penny. Ask yourself - if you had never seen a car that you were being asked to buy and didn’t know the dealer then would you really ever dream of just buying it without first insisting on a test drive?

Only ever deal directly with the supplier themselves and ideally with as senior member of their team as possible. If they sell through partners or distributors as well as direct (like us) then no-one will mind you dealing with their head office first because the business will trickle to their partner/distributor anyway. Fact is no-one in plasma has hundreds of employees and are thus too busy to talk directly with you. Our own CEO, MD, Head of Operations and everyone else on team plasma here are all happy to have friendly chats with potential new customers - without any hard sell – online or offline.

Research them heavily. Check their social media. How comprehensive is it? How big is their

following? Are they only on Facebook? Why is that? How big is their following on other social outlets like LinkedIn, Twitter, Insta etc.? What kind of feedback do they get? Is their social and written content varied and of a high standard? Have they had any recent media exposure in the major beauty magazines or independent reviews?

Did they suddenly approach you on social media or by email after you had tried to approach

someone else or simply commented on something? Did you not find that odd? Demand a treatment yourself with their device. They should not only give you a model rate but

should also refund the cost of that treatment against the future purchase of their device. If they won’t (or if they haven’t even got anyone to give you a treatment) then does that not strike you as odd? Never buy a device you haven’t personally being independently used on a live model.

Unless it’s a major, known provider then always pay with your credit or debit card. If you pay

with your credit or debit card you at least have some level of protection, legal recourse and a route to later claim back your money via your bank or card provider if you subsequently find you have been conned or miss-sold.

Have they got a real office? Check their stated location on Google Earth/Maps. Is it actually their

location or just a partners’ small clinic? Is it even just a house? Are they VAT registered?

Don’t ever buy second hand plasma devices on Ebay, Facebook or anywhere else. It will unlikely be under warranty, it may not work, it could be dangerous and without the right training and certification for it then it’s likely you won’t be insured or versed in delivering treatment using it. We will not sell our unique probes or pre and post treatment products to anyone who we haven’t trained and certified and who hasn’t got a valid, safe device.

Look at the picture of the device you’re about to purchase and then surf to one of the worlds’

Page 13: PLASMA PEN BY LOUISE WALSH INTERNATIONALassets.cdnma.com/18265/assets/Plasma Pen by Louise... · Plasma Pen by Louise Walsh International is fully CE Certified. Some small providers

biggest trade outlets www.alibaba.com and type in Plasma Pen. If you see anything like the device you’re being offered on sale there for just a few dollars then run a mile!

If the device hasn’t even got CE Certification or valid/correct CE Certification then do not purchase it.

Don’t forget the number one rule of shopping which is if it’s not black - put it back!

SUMMARY

The opinions in this document are exactly that - our opinions. Naturally, we’d love you to buy our £3,250 pen because we - and experts all over the world - agree it is the best of its type on the market! However, there are other good devices, mostly dearer than ours, but it’s not always about price - it’s often about personal preference. Choose the right device for you based on the facts.

If you are in any doubt then it is simple - there is no doubt. Walk away or, at the very least, take pause and consider your options. It is too expensive an investment for you to get wrong - not just for you but for your clients. You could spend months or longer fighting to get your money back, if you even can, from a rogue trader. Whether you buy Plasma Pen by Louise Walsh International or one of the other reputable devices that we respect then we’re ultimately happy because you’re helping further support the unstoppable growth of plasma treatment among end-clients. That benefits all of us. All we want to do is arm you with the information you need to make an informed decision, help you cut through the scaremongering and fake news and save you and your clients the pain of buying the wrong device.
