Britain’s manufacturersremain overwhelminglyin favour of remainingwithin the EU accordingto a survey published byEEF, the manufacturers’organisation.

According to thesurvey, 85% ofmanufacturers wouldvote to stay in the EU,with a further 8% saying‘don’t know’. In contrast,only 7% of companieswould vote to pull out ofthe EU.

Working closely with our distributor partners and resellers, we provide a comprehensive range of Pneumatic, Hydraulic and General Industrial products in conjunction with customer service levels that lead the industry. Our business development, technical and creative service teams also offer full systems, product training and marketing support.

Impressive as our growth has been over the last 25 years, we believe there are potential markets to develop within the UK, particularly with our expanded range of Hydraulic Products and Systems.

We are now looking to recruit an experienced Business Development Manager to drive this growth further by promoting Flowtech’s unique service capabilities whilst maximising sales to both potential and existing customers.

Ideally possessing an excellent knowledge of the Hydraulics industry, possibly working for a manufacturer with distribution networks throughout the UK, you will be experienced in building relationships, negotiating and closing agreements at the highest corporate levels. Liaising closely with the Group Marketing Director, Business Development Director and our Customer Support Teams, based at our head office in Skelmersdale, Lancashire, your primary responsibility will be to identify sales growth opportunities, establish excellent business relationships and contribute to Flowtech’s ongoing sales strategy.

As this role will target numerous major sales opportunities within the UK, there are no restrictions on your home location, however there is likely to be a considerable amount of travel within the UK.

Salary and benefits, including company car, pension and life assurance, are commensurate with the experience of the individual.
