fundamental movement skills (FMS), and sport-specific skills in both a non-competitive and competitive environment. The subject will improve independent/critical thinking, and foster feelings of success and enjoyment.

Course Content Overview

Divided into a trimester year, the students will move through 5 units of instruction; FMS, Flexibility and Coordination, Hitting and Kicking, and Ball Skills/Modified Games and Swimming.

Assessment

Student knowledge will be assessed through rubric-based criteria, which will focus on knowledge and understanding, skill development, participation, communication, self-management skills, team work, game play and reflection.
