To whom it may concern,
I have had the privilege of personally knowing, and working with David Pillen for numerous years now. Through this time and experience I have seen David, grow and mature into a man with many assets and high capabilities. I have served with him in numerous roles, from playing with him on the Abilene Christian football team, to working with him within the college ministry of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes currently. David exhibits many qualities that will make him valuable in any environment.
Of his many qualities David’s work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work on and lead a team stand out. His work ethic is attested to by determination and eagerness to continually better himself. This shows in his enthusiasm with which he completes tasks, and the fact that he is self motivated and is constantly striving to do the best he can at whatever role and job he has been given. The work ethic shows in his work just as much as his attention to detail. He is very thorough in anything that he allows to represent himself or the entity that he is working with. FCA has benefited greatly from his insight and ability to make the small changes that have a large effect in our organization. Having him on any team will enhance the production of the team itself, as his attitude and standard of excellence is contagious. One of the things that makes him such a valuable leader for FCA, is that he not only helps all of his fellow leaders, but that brings out the best in them as well. It is obvious to tell when David has been around a group because they usually exhibit more confidence in themselves and are more aware of what their gifts and strengths are, and how to use them.
I give my full support to David, in whatever area he is pursuing. His ability is matched by his work ethic, and the two of those are only outshined by his great character and integrity. David Pillen will be an asset to any team or organization.
Sincerely,
Kevin Washington
