. ,MONDAY, MARCH 7 - We depart from our home city for an evening connecting overnight fIight to Tel Aviv. Dinner andbreakfast served aboard. D (dinner) & B (breakfast)

TUESDAY, MARCH 8 - Our arrival at Ben Gurion Airport will be in the afternoon. We clear customs and transfer by motorcoach to Jerusalem to our hotel, which is located across the street from the Walls of the Old City. We check in and thencelebrate the OPENING MASS of our pilgrimage in the Chapel of Notre Dame Center. Then we have dinner together.

D JERUSALEM

WEDNESDAY, MARCH 9 - Traveling a short distance south of Jerusalem, we arrive inBethlehem. We begin our visit in the countryside at the Shepherds Fields of Boaz, rememberthe angels' glad tidings to the shepherds. We celebrate our HOLY MASS in a GROTTO OFSHEPHERDS FIELDS. Within the Town of Bethlehem we go to venerate the Holy Grotto of theNativity, as well as the Manger and the Grotto of St. Jerome. We also will be in the Franciscanchurch ofSt. Catherine, scene of Bethlehem's Christmas Midnight Mass. As a special experiencein the nearby neighborhood, a "suburb" of Bethlehem called Beit Sahour, we divide into smallgroups and are provided with lunch in the homes of Christian families. This will be a greatopportunity to communicate with the people in this city of Christ's birth. Time permitting, wewill stop at a Bethlehem store that offers olive wood religious carvings and many other items.

THURSDAY, MARCH 10 - This morning we drive to the Summit of Mt. Olives to visit the Chapel of the Ascensionand the Church of Pater Noster. Walking the Palm Sunday Road, we visit and celebrate MASS IN DOMINUS FLEVITCHAPEL There, too, we have a wonderful panoramic view of the City of Jerusalem. Ourbus takes us to a Gate of the Old City where we enter and are at the sacred Jewish Templearea of the Western Wall or Wailing Wall. Prayers are offered up at these remaining holystones of the glorious second temple. We are aware that now the only structures standingabove on the Temple Mount itself are the Moslem Shrines of the Dome of the Rock andMosque el Aqsa. This afternoon we travel to Ein Karem to visit the Church of St. Johnthe Baptist and the Visitation Church, where Mary came to visit her cousin Elizabethand spoke praise of God with her Magnificat. Returning to Jerusalem, we stop at the IsraelMuseum to see the Model of the Holy City of Jerusalem and the Second Temple as itwas in the time of Our Lord. B & D JERUSALEM

FRIDAY MARCH 11 - This morning we enter the Old City of Jerusalem at St. Stephen's Gate where our first stop is atthe Church of St. Anne and the Pools of Bethesda. Next, in preparation for making the Way of the Cross, we go to the

CHAPEL OF FLAGELLATION to celebrate HOLY MASS. Carrying a woodencross and praying the Way of the Cross along the streets and among the marketsand shops as Jesus did on His journey to Calvary, we follow the Via Dolorosa tothe Church of the Holy Sepulchre. Within the church, we visit Golgotha andcomplete our devotions at the Sacred Tomb of Jesus. This afternoon we are freefor our own activities. Some may want to visit the Museum at the Citadel, whichdisplays the history of Jerusalem from ancient times to the present day. Time spentthere is well worth it. We have dinner together in our hotel. After dinner we go tothe Church of All Nations at Gethsemane for a Holy Hour with an opportunityfor the Sacrament of Reconciliation. B & D JERUSALEM

SATURDAY, MARCH 12 - We drive along the walls of the Old City to Mt. Zion, and there we celebrate HOLY MASS inthe CHURCH OF ST. PETER IN GALLICANTU. This church is built overthe spot where Jesus was held in the dungeonofCaiphas' house, and the site of St. Peter's triple denial of Our Lord. After Mass we visit the nearby traditional site ofthe Upper Room, remembering there with devotion the Last Supper, Easter Sunday night and Pentecost Sunday. Nearbywe go to Dormition Abbey Church that honors the passage of Our Lady from this life to Heaven. The rest of this day isfree for our personal activities or shopping. This evening we are served a special Middle East Dinner.

B & D JERUSALEM

SUNDAY, MARCH 13 - This morning we celebrate our SUNDAY MASS inNotre Dame Chapel, have breakfast and then depart from Jerusalem. Wewill drivea short distance east for a stop at Bethany, home of Martha, Mary and Lazarus.There we visit its beautiful church and even the Tomb of Lazarus. Our drivefurther east takes us below Sea Level and then south along the shoreline of theDead Sea, the lowest spot on earth. We reach Masada, a popular Israel touristattraction accessed by cable car, on which we ascend to its ancient settlementatop a rock plateau. Here the Jewish rebels resisted the onslaught of the Romanoccupying troops, but finally ended the siege by their own suicide. After our

visit we can find a bite to eat in the cafeteria here. We drive back to the north, arriving just above the place where theJordan empties into the Dead Sea. We go directly to its bank and recall that here, when St. John was baptizing those whoresponded to his call for repentance, he heard Our Lord and obediently Baptized Jesus Himself. We will renew our ownBaptismal Promises at the river. We will drive through Jericho, the most ancient city in the Holy Land. We recall itsprominence for events in both the Old and the New Testaments. Driving north in thefertile Jordan River Valley we reach the Sea of Galilee. There at its shoreline we checkinto our hotel, our lodging for the next three nights. We have dinner together.

MONDAY, MARCH 14 - This morning we drive to MT. BEATITUDE, whichoverlooks the Sea of Galilee. In this place, where Jesus preached His Sermon on theMount, at an outdoor altar we celebrate HOLY MASS. We then drive to the northto Caesarea Philippi, where in response to the profession of faith spoken by Peter,Jesus promised him leadership in His Church-that He would give to him the "Keysto the Kingdom." Returning south to the Sea of Galilee, we pause for our lunch that

will be included, offering a specialty of the area called "St. Peter Fish." Drivingalong the lake shore we are at a site called Tabgha (Seven Springs), where ourfirst stop is at the site of the Multiplication of Loaves and Fishes, bringing tomind Our Lord's feeding five thousand people. Next we visit the Church of thePrimacy of Peter, the place where Our Lord bestowed upon Peter the role ofleadership of the Church, as was promised at the site we visited this morning.Here we will pray for the intentions of the Holy Father. We go on to Capernaum,known as the Second City of Jesus, where we will see the ruins of the secondcentury Synagogue (John: 6) and the ancient structure of the House of Peter. Inthis city Our Lord called a number of the Apostles, he taught the Good Newsof our Redemption and he cured many people of their afflictions. Back at ourhotel we have dinner together. TUESDAY, MARCH 15 - This morning we embark on a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee, remembering the scripturepassages of Jesus and His apostles on this lake. Next we go and ascend the heights ofMt. Tabor, where Jesus took Peter,James and John and was gloriously Transfigured in their sight. We will celebrate HOLY MASS in the BASILICA OFTHE TRANSFIGURATION. After a stop for lunch on our own we head to Nazareth, where Jesus spent most of His Life.We go to the beautiful Basilica of the Annunciation. There in the Grotto ofthe Annunciation we venerate the very spotwhere the Word Was Made Flesh. We will also visit the great Upper Basilica and nearby see St. Joseph's Workshop. Wegather again for dinner at our hotel this evening. B & D TffiERIAS

WEDNESDAY MARCH 16 - After check out of our hotel our first destination is Cana. Here we recall the scene of OurLord's first miracle, remembering His Blessed Mother's words, "Do whatever He tells you." We will celebrate HOLYMASS in the CHURCH IN CANA. During this Mass couples in our group will have the opportunity to renew their MarriageVows. We then head northwest towards the Mediterranean coastline, ascending the Carmel Mount Range. We reach thechurch of Stella Maris on Mt. Carmel, the largest monastery of the CarmeliteOrder and its headquarters. Here we see the Cave of Elijah. A stop will be madethen for lunch on our own. Driving south, our next stop in Caesarea Maritima,capitol of the Roman Province of Judea. We recall that St. Paul was imprisoned inCaesarea before being sent to Rome. Also in this city St. Peter baptized the firstGentile converts. We will see the Crusaders' Moat and fortifications built by St.Louis the King. We will also see the well preserved Roman Amphitheater. Earlythis evening we are in the historic city of Jaffa. We will dine together in Jaffa,and then head to the airport for our late evening flight home.

RESERVATIONS AND PAYMENT: Travel Tyme requires adeposit of $400 per person that is to be sent with the application atthe time of booking. CANCELLATIONS: Please make all cancellations in writing.The following cancellation charges apply per person: If cancelled 120days or more prior to departure, a $75 administration fee is charged. Ifcancelled 119-61 days prior, $300 penalty will be charged. If cancelled60-15 days prior, a $500 penalty will be charged. If cancelled 14 daysor less, the total amount of the trip will be forfeited. In addition, oncethe airline tickets are issued, about 40 days prior to departure, the cost isnon-refundable (approximately $1481 - St. Louis or $1292 - Ft. Myers.).

TRAVEL INSURANCE: We strongly recommend the purchaseof travel insurance to recuperate the penalties charged for cancellationfor health reasons. You would be fully covered, except if pre-existingconditions are evident. Even so, the insurer waives the exclusion forpre-existing conditions, if insurance is purchased within 15 days ofdeposit received by Travel Tyme.
